So what seems off to me here, is according to this, Flynn became CEO after Dillinger got the axe in 1981.

But then it says that Kevin wasn't rehired until 1983, and only attained the rank of V.P.

Yeah, but then doesn't canon timeline say somewhere that he QUITS Encom sometime in 1983 or 1984? Seems we've debated this before, and I thought someone said they'd read that somewhere. (But I think it was disputed, can't remember why. It's been a while)

But then I feel like with all the material Disney has out there, there seem to be a LOT of contradictions and retconning every time something new comes out. (I dont' feel bad at not being able to keep track of it all if even Disney can't)

It's been a while) I think that might've happened in Tron 2.0, but I can't be sure. Something in one of the email bins. Maybe I'm mixing it up though. There was a LOT of depressing stuff in those emails though.
