Okay so we know there is that huge tower that looms over the light cycle arena, right? I only noticed yesterday that the lights on it are not meaningless decoration, but there to keep score of the game, with one ribbon of light for each side's competitors, lit in their team's corresponding colors. As the game progresses, one light goes out for each member of one of the teams who has been derezzed. Man this movie RULES!

Same in the disc arena that Sam was in earlier. Some of the names are actual computer science people. I didn't see any names I was familiar with, but some people have recognized a few.

Nice to know I wasn't the only one who made note of that. Not to digress, but is Rinzler one fo the names of a famous programmer or computer researcher from days gone by? I mean, the name "Rinzler" does seem a bit pedestrian for the world of Tron where everyone else has a more science-fictiony name, doesn't it?
