Pretty sure it was just for effect. After all, a subtitle clearly indicates a "MAN SPEAKING". Though his screen-name is definitely a shout-out to good old Master Control.
Gosh, there really needs to be a sequel! And not in 28 years...let's shoot for under 3 years, eh, Disney?
Why use Norton AV or AVG to protect your computer when you could be using TRON instead!?

It's a lot less impactful and professional than I thought a BluRay tease would be. Part of me hopes this is fan-made and not an actual teaser on the disc. This is pretty cheaply made and doesn't have much effort behind it. Dillinger trying to sound like the MCP doesn't seem quite right. I do hope the MCP returns in T4, but want it to be a separate entity from Dillinger Sr. like it was in Tron. And with a better voice effect than that.
The tease is okay, but could be lots better.

It's a hidden, little bonus Easter Egg "teaser" that ties into "the Next Day" and the Flynn Lives ARG's narrative that's backstory to Tron Legacy, nothing more.
It's not meant to be a a full on commercial teaser. It's just a little hidden clip on the BluRay and it doesn't have to be a full on movie teaser FFS....
I am pretty sure this is genuine and not an elaborate "fake". It's quality is fine IMO and I think it's pretty cool.

I'm taking it with a grain of salt. It could be real, but it could just as easily be a kid with some computer tools and a voice changer. You never see any faces, and the voice is so garbled there's no way to tell exactly. Anyone could put a few moving pictures to a clip from the soundtrack. But, being an Easter Egg, it doesn't necessarily have to be a big deal.

I've seen it - and some other really cool stuff, especially a 1980s-esque commercial for Space Paranoids. One little detail - the home video game system that is shown in the Space Paranoids commercial WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE to play it due to the poor quality graphics that said 80s home video game system has (hint: the company that made said console is now known as INFOGRAMES, and the initials of the guy that ran said company are N.B.).
As far as the voice of the MCP in that easter egg, to me, it sounds pretty close to the original. However, I don't think it's David Warner, but possibly COREY BURTON, and there's a crazy connection between him and David:
Corey did the voice of Sark and the MCP in the TRON section of Kingdom Hearts, as well as the voice of Shockwave in the G1 Transformers Cartoon;
