Well, I got Cindy Morgan's autograph from MegaCon yesterday. I told her I saw the Flynn Lives ARG's San Francisco video and asked her about the rumor I heard about her, Bruce and Dan signing contracts with Disney for Part 3. She said that she heard the same thing, but it was hard to determine where her character would be now, as the continuity of the "Tron" timeline has changed throughout the games, comics and ARG (and she gave me the Facebook page for "Yori Lives" on the back of the photo she signed). Of course, I told her that Disney should not only bring Lora back for the next film, but have some form of Ma3a involved too. She actually told me that she recorded the dialogue for the character in New York (describing the experience of it a bit) with the director was in LA. I can't fathom how they're going to get Yori back into it.

Well, I told her that I had hoped Lora would be back and maybe a version of Ma3a. I didn't even think about Yori (sorry). It would make sense that Flynn ported her over, in the first film he kissed her for goodness sake. Even after Flynn married he could have still ported her before the old server died and she's on Sam's memory chip with the rest of the grid.

But if she was ported, where is she? I don't see how they left any room for her with the way they took Legacy. I mean, think about it:
If she wasn't ported, why wouldn't Tron pitch a fit about it, right? Somebody yanked me to live/work somewhere else, and didn't take my SO, I'd be right pissed. So that's an argument either in favor of her having been ported, or perhaps for something having happened, like her having been derezzed, that she COULDN't be ported, hence why Tron seems to have just accepted it.
But again, if she is on the new system, where was she? You can't tell me that if your SO gets corrupted into some evil minion of Clu, you're not out there raising hell about it (and that could well be why they didn't bring her back--they didn't want to have to add that plot point).
It'd be great to have Yori back, but I just don't see how they'll do it without some serious retconning and/or stupid explanations. And I'd really rather have her not brought back then some dorky explanation for why she's apparently been hiding out all this time. I mean, remember The X-Files, where they had to come up with a dumb subplot of Scully being abducted by aliens to hide the fact that Gillian Anderson was pregnant/on maternity leave? Yeah, let's not make this like that, okay? No grasping at straws for Tron, please.

Yori was part of the team of Programs that supposedly developed/built maintained the Solar Sailer and part of her function may of been object modeling that was used when the orange was digitized (the name Yori appears during the scan and digitization of the orange scene).

Yori has always been in the back of my head as one of the possible reasons that TRON wasn't himself anymore. I just can't see all of the chaos that happened on Flynn's grid doing so without her having something to say about it.

I haven't heard anything saying the old Encom 511 server is dead. The end of  had the system turning blue and set free again.
I think it'd be simple to explain Yori's presence in the 3rd movie. Flynn brought Tron to the new system from the old system. So why couldn't Yori be brought to the new system, too?
I'd actually prefer they made Tron 3 on the Encom 511 server, but continuity-wise, that may take too long to creatively explain in one film since T:L took place entirely on the new system. Going to the Encom 511 server can wait until Tron 4 for me. This way, parts of Tron 3 can talk a bit about the old server in preparation for Tron 4. A smoother transition to it.

I'd be happy to see her as just Lora, after all, being married to Alan and now Alan being Chairman again. No massive explanation needed either.

I can't be sure (because I can't go back and watch), but doesn't it reveal in the so called TR3N trailer that Zack Attack had been stealing and backing up ENCOM stuff on hard drives and such. If so, could he not also have backed up Yori?abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

But, when I mentioned that there was a rumor about Bruce, Dan and her getting exclusive contracts signed for the next film, she didn't really confirm it. Like I said, she even directed me to the Facebook page for "Yori Lives", which suggests to me that the rumor was not true. Or maybe its misdirection.
