The new set of Tron Legacy Vinylmation figures were released yesterday (3/25). There are 8 figures in the set:
Flynn
Sam
Quorra
Zuse
Clu
Rinzler
Jarvis
82' Flynn
The figures are in window boxes, so you know which one you are getting. These are available at the D-Street stores in both California and Florida, and can also be purchased online at www.disneystore.com

ALREADY showing sold out online. And I JUST went a couple weeks back, so I can't afford to make it down there again so quickly! Grrr...

Thanks for the heads up. I was able to get Jarvis, Quorra and TL Kevin on the disneystore website. The rest are sold out it looks like. I'm going to have to at least get Clu, Rinzler and Original Tron KF, probably get the last two just to round out the set.
edit: Merkman, Quorra is on the website, $10 + $3 shipping + tax

Crazy that they are already sold out online. When I went to Disneyland yesterday to get my set there were only about a dozen of us in line when the store opened and they had walls full of them.

I think I remember your thread Boba. Wonder what's going on with the database here. I remember a post about these somewhere at least, before they came out.
As for the designs, I'm not that happy with the faces, the main reason I like these is the helmets look cool (Clu, Rinzler and Quorra especially.) Also, black robe KF. Also, OG Tron KF. Castor/Zuse looks kinda creepy but oh well. I like the representation of the 'rarer characters' as well as Clu and Rinzler looking suitably badass.
As badass as a vinylmation or whatever can be 
Found a decent price on ebay, we'll see what my final 'shipping/handling' fee is going to be but they said they would cut me a deal for ordering the other five.

I'm not big on collectible figures but these were really cute in person so I picked up some of them. Well most. I didn't care for old Flynn or Jarvis. I might pick them up later just to have the complete the set though.

I have almost 30 of the 3" Vinylmations from the first year they were released, including a couple from the very first series.
I LOVE VMs, but alas, my collecting days are over. I'd love to get these, but I won't.
If you're at ALL interested in them though, GET THEM NOW! The production runs on these guys are way smaller than you think.

After all was said and done I ended up paying about $2 extra per guy (for five) from ebay vs having them shipped from Disney Store. Pretty reasonable 'handling' fee I'm excited to get these.

I got my 3 from Disney Store today and they are alright. My one complaint is that they come in sealed boxes, so when I complete my set I have to decide if I'm just going to keep them in the boxes or not. Probably will open them unless I find out they are a super-limited run. If you don't like the pics then don't get them cause I haven't seen anything that would change your mind lol.
My main reason for wanting them (besides liking the idea and design of most) was it was a way to get 82 Tron KF, a black robe KF and the (goofy looking) Castor. If I had gotten those in 3" designs it would have made it a lot easier to pass on these. Also, I haven't gotten Rinzler or Clu yet but I really love their designs. Even on Quorra and Jarvis there is this blue underpattern that adds to the design of the figure.
