Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find any previous talk about this. (Would help immensely if the search function for the forums worked).
Is there any difference in the separate diecast Recognizer in it's own package and the one included in the TRU exclusive 3 Pack? Paint, sculpt etc?

Yeah, some (all?) of the Recognizers in the 3 packs have a different paint scheme. It's actually fairly intricate and adds to the look of the toy imo. Early on before I broke every rule by buying cheap toys for duplicates, it was my first 'duplicate.' A fan of a Recognizer would want one imo.

The early sets with the "orange" Clu bike had a normally painted Recognizer, when they later went to the more yellow Clu bike is when they changed the Reco's paint apps.
I don't think the variant was ever in the single pack releases. (But I may be wrong about that...)

The 3 pack Reco has some additional orange stripes all over it.

Nice catch. It is good to have a legitimate reason to pick up one of those three packs.

On the plus side, you should have an orange Clu bike, which I consider to be Rinzler.
I also wouldn't be surprised if TRU were to receive additional stock of the 3-packs, I've seen additional stock of some of their other store exclusives re-materialize months later.

There are tons of the villain 3 pack at my local TRUs. Surprisingly, not many of the hero ones though. I'm sure if you call into your local TRU you can ask if they have one and see if they can put it on hold for you.

I guess I can scoop up the two they had left tomorrow and see if anyone else wants them...
If anyone wants more than the two - I'd need gas money to check the other ones (the one I was at a week ago also still had them but I don't recall which ones).

I think I got an 'orange' Clu bike today in my Disney Store order from their clearance stuff with free shipping. Here is a pic with my opened 'yellow' Clu bike with the 'orange' Clu MOC from Disney.
