There's no way. I have read several of these at all kinds of forums, and I honestly believe they saw a Kevin Flynn at a distance and assumed it was Castor. That's the only logical explanation because we would have heard otherwise by now. I would rebut these people, but there is no point because they believe they are right.

This figure is so legendary it seems like people are seeing toy mirages! lol

I think there may be several explanations as to why people are seeing these "ghost" Castor figures. One is user897s theory, another is the possibility that people are mistaking the target 2 pack for the full figure after seeing Castor on it. Or someone could have dreamt they were shopping and saw it in their dreams thinking it was real. And I wouldn't put it past anyone to just outright lie in order to get attention.

Feel free to chime in if you think you have another explanation.

I don't care if it's got bullet holes through the card back, I'd open it anyway and enjoy the thing. I just wish one would end up on ebay because I'd be prepared to pay an unreasonable amount of money to ensure I won it.

I think a lot of these cases are false memories, caused by seeing Castor on the cardbacks of other figures/vehicles before people knew he was unreleased. Combine that with User897's thought about seeing Kevin Flynn figures at a distance, or partially obscured by other figures as someone thumbs through a rack, and I imagine you have an answer.

Memory is a funny thing, there have been numerous studies about witnesses being unreliable in trials. I think the "Castor claim" phenomenon is related.

On the other hand, there's always the slim possibility that a few cases with Castor were mistakenly shipped out. We'll never really know unless someone making a claim provides some proof.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

No, I think it was a talent issue, it's just in the time it took to get the release from Sheen they revised the figure's face. If they had the likeness rights from the getgo they would have gone out with the fleshier face, and it would have been a running change - like what happened with Clu changing color.

Sure, I think I mis-spoke. I was really just trying to note that these looked similar in paint app, pointing to them both being from the unapproved run that wheat king mentioned earlier in the thread:

wheat king Wrote:Sweet! I'm glad at least 1 Castor got out. I agree, this was probably the best head sculpt up to this point, and one of my favorite figures overall. This must have been from the original, unapproved run because the skin & hair colors were adjusted for the wave 3 run as well. Eventually his skin became MUCH more pale.

Looks legit, nice find magnum.

It would be neat to see what the S3 Castor paint app would have been.

I would rather have a look at the other planned S3 figures personally.

Wheat, do you have a list or pics you can share of what figures were planned for the S3 release? Also, can you elaborate on what happened with derezzed Black Guard and Redeemed Rinzler? Were they ever made or were those just mock up pictures?where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

For Informational Use Only

I am not at liberty to say how I aquired these, so please do not ask. They were a gift and will never leave my collection.

Carded and Loose Castor

My loose Castor has a different head sculpt than my carded one. In my opinion, the loose one has a more movie accurate look.

I'll post a few more pics once I get some cases for them.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

So that brings the total count of confirmed "wild" Castor's to 4. Man, I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but I am so jealous of all the folks who have found or been given this guy, he's a truly rare and magnificent piece.

Thanks for the loose pics BlueTronWarrior, I'd been dying to see one out of the box, and the pics just make me even more jealous.

DAMN!!! Blue Tron Warrior, I am so jealous of you. You currently own 50% of the all the Castor figures that are currently known to exist.

Thanks for showing off the loose figure and it's light up feature. Those look awesome. I never thought I'd ever see the light feature in action.

I wonder what's the story behind the different paint apps and sculpt on your loose figures face?

So far, Magnum still owns the only one with a mint card. Who ever you are and where ever you are, if anyone else happens to have a Castor please post! (and pics or it didn't happen) We need all these things accounted for!

I think I have the only name on this board dedicated to the character (which I made right after I saw the movie as I thought he nearly stole the show), how come I didn't get a "gift" from Spin Masters?

I only started buying this sub-par line in the first place because of Castor (this is documented in the now closed Legacy toy thread). I wasn't impressed with the permanently helmeted figures, which seemed like a cheap and easy cop out. I wasn't impressed by the fact that they messed up on some of the most basic elements, like the discs being able to attach to the figures backs (even the Tomy ones had that feature). And I certainly wasn't impressed with the shoddy quality control (the first time I looked at the figures one of the few on the pegs had a head broken off whilst still in the package).

Only after seeing someone post a picture of the series two cardback which showed Castor did I want in on this line. And of course the one figure I wanted most, the catalyst for me having ANY of these things, is the one I'll likely never have. And to make matters worse I have to be teased as a select few get sent them as special gifts. No disrespect to any who got/get one of these, but it's just very frustrating and aggravating for me considering how big a fan I was of the character before it seemed like anyone else gave a shit about him.

End of line

While I may not be quite as big a fan as you Zuse, I can definitely say that Castor was a driving force in my collecting as well. I didn't end up seeing the movie until just about a month ago, and I really loved the character. Before that though, I had seen him on the cardbacks of a few of the figures, and I was on a manhunt to find even just one of him, and I figured he must just be really popular, because I kept looking everywhere and couldn't find him. I finally ended up getting Quorra, Sam, and Kevin at a discount center a month or so before seeing TL, and that inspired me to complete the collection, even before seeing the whole thing. It was about a week or so after viewing the film that I found this board and the discussion regarding this figure, and I was quite disappointed that one of the coolest characters in the film, one who I had wanted to find and purchase before even knowing what he was like on screen, was not even going to be available to purchase. So it may not be just like your story, but know that there are others out there in a similar or the same boat. abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Thanks for sharing, BlueTronWarrior! Very cool to see different head molds and a loose figure, finally.

Here's hoping more continue to show up. The more there are, the better the odds that someone makes a custom mold and starts casting them for everybody.

While I understand Zuse's frustration, by that logic there never would have been a Castor figure without fans of the first movie still being interested. So I assure you, as badly as you may have wanted a Castor figure there are plenty here who want one as much as you do. Regardless of their picked 'user name.'

Anyway, Dirk has the right idea. The more that show up, especially loose, the better chance there is for others to get molds for their own figure. The sad thing is with 300 produced there was more than enough to go around...

I really like the figure. It really is a shame it didn't go into production.

Wouldn't selling custom-made copies of this guy run into copyright issues? I remember dealing with a guy who was selling Toy Story custom creations he had made, and he had almost gotten into some trouble because he was producing and making money off of selling his own custom made versions of Disney-owned characters, and that was from scratch, not using an existing product as a base. I could be wrong, but I just wanted to throw that out there and see what others thought.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill
