I agree 100% about the mods. Where the hell are the mods, anyways? I've been trying to get ahold of Auric for like 2 months now! And like you said, this stuff is allowed to continue. Again. I'm growing weary of an apparent lack of action/presence by staff here. Not blasting anyone. Just trying to grasp at an explanation as to what is going on (not going on?) here. Especially in light of the fact that we were told that BTW isn't the only mod here! Is everyone on vacation or something??? A board like this can't be left to take care of itself. It will implode. While I try to be on the boards daily, and I usually am, I have a busy full-time job and family, sometimes things slip under the radar. As with any internet board, the Mod team relies on its members to help keep the mods informed on any misconduct. We can't be everywhere all the time. The PMs you guys send in to alert us of such activity is very helpful, thank you. Again, while I am one of the more active Mods, there are others here to assist as well. The Site Staff info can be found in the top left column of the site. If something like this happens again, please do not get drawn into a back and forth attack, it just wastes space in the thread. Please continue to PM the mod staff so we can deal with the situation before it gets out of control.

I didn't see your name in the staff list, BTW. I had to go looking for one of your previous posts (took awhile since the search feature is broke). Am I missing something? Also, who do you consider the best person for us to PM if something like this happens again?? Like is there a 'daytime' and a 'nighttime' mod? It would help if we knew exactly who to contact. Anytime I contact Auric, I get nothing. Gave up on him. I was gonna put in my last post here that you guys probably have real lives...but there still should be someone 'manning the store' on a consistent basis.

And User897's question stands: who ya gonna call? If we PM someone who is not 'on duty' that day, then it's a waste of time. It would help to know the best person to PM. If possible.

I'll also ask if this site is capable of IP bans to take care of these nutbags?? It seems to me there should be a username ban, email ban, IP ban, etc. to prevent repeat signups of these guys. Actually, I thought Auric (who seems to have gone missing) had said that there would be more stringent screening of new signups??? Am I remembering that incorrectly? It just seems like there's not enough 'protection' here to keep out the bad guys, which results in a constant 'cat and mouse' game...which makes you guys work way more than you should have to, and cause chaos way more than the forum members would like. I'm an Admin on a site, and there are plenty of protections in place to help prevent (if not totally eliminate) the type of stuff that goes on here. AND: it's just a basic site. I'm not understanding how this crap keeps happening. Since I first signed up here, there have been several repeat buggers here. Why is it still happening???
