Hopefully it's good. I don't dislike Puff but this whole thing of "everybody getting tronned up" is making the style kitch. Granted it's a hollywood movie and it's going to be a flavor of the month thing anyway but I think stuff like this puts the art on the decline faster.

Betcha all that EL stuff is photoshopped on. Just get the issue of Computer Arts where they showed you how to use Photoshop to make a photo look tronesque.

lol, someone's a Battlestar Gallactica fan.
And yeah, the jacket is definitely shopped. But I still want it. Hell, I'm going to eventually make a jacket like that. Just takes some EL Wire and Tape.

Not surprised. My partner was just saying the other day how he's noticing the R&B/hiphop artists are really starting to come out with stuff that has techno/electronica-like backgrounds. He calls it "R&B-no." And I have to agree...it's not usually my sort of music but I've heard some of the stuff that comes on his car radio, and some if it almost sounds like it's straight outta T:L. I don't recognize most of the artists but I know Rihanna's got one, etc. (I think he said there is some song that uses something of Daft Punk's as the background.) So if the electronica style is coming into hiphop and R&B, and then a lot of these guys are big on bogarting other peoples' stuff for their music (which is also a techno thing from what I can gather--everybody's always remixing other peoples' stuff and techno-izing existing music and such)...yep, you can bet Diddy's gonna get in on it, and I'm sure plenty of others before this is through.
(Wow, I'm not sure if any of that came across coherently, but yeah)
