Wasn't the Ultimate Clu retailing for $39.99? That's what I see it for everywhere...well, when it was still around, that is. lol I do know that the Ultimate Sam is retailing for $39.99...except on Walmart.com and Targets sale (if you can find one).

ETA: just noticed that Ultimate Sam is reduced to $24.98 as well from $39.99 on TRU/Ebay shop.

I think they removed them later on. The Ult.Sam I have here has the punchout holes (unpunched out) where the plastic string would have been threaded through to hold the Katana in place. Just guessing, though as to WHEN they stopped or started witholding Katanas. I'd have to say they intended to put them in every box initially...since the description on the boxes has the Katana listed as being included. The ones without the Katana have the sticker over that line in the description so you can't see it (unless you peel it off).

I personally think they're an important and awesome looking weapon for both Sam and Clu. Shame. I get my Clus tomorrow. Still crossing my fingers that I get them with the Katanas...
