I would hope it's a fake, Dillinger has gone from a publicly shamed Senior VP, to a kidnapping murdering ex-con?
Why would Encom even hire his son, knowing what his family is invovled in, a plot to kill the Flynn family?
It would be a really dark storyline for TRON, let alone Disney to go with.

Well I can see 42 Entertainment leaking little fake news articles like this as part of a new ARG for "Tron 3". I hope this isn't fan made and comes from 42 Entertainment...

Oh come on.....Are we to believe that in any universe that the son of a criminal is set to "inherit" a multi billion dollar corporation if the rightful heir to the owner dies. Really, this has to be shopped as the premise is so lame it is criminal.

I followed that link - I'm disappointed, too.
As far as the previous poster saying, "How could ENCOM hire Dillinger Jr.?" I recall some details in TRON: LEGACY, especially during the montage about 5 minutes in, that speak to this question:
1)The fact that the ENCOM top brass were getting quite irritated by Kevin Flynn's, "erratic", absentee behavior;
2)ENCOM decided to take control away from Alan Bradley;
3)The way that Richard Mackie was treating Alan in the boardroom scene - they were treating Alan as if he wasn't even there, and they had NO REGARD for anything Alan had to say or contribute;
4)What Dillinger Jr. said to Alan: "The decision to make ENCOM 0S12 free disappeared with Kevin Flynn";
5)The fact that Richard Mackie painted Dillinger Sr. as some magnificent historical pioneering force in ENCOM history, when he was really a sneaky crook.
ENCOM, in my estimation, has become a cut-throat company, and may even be moreso now, in the wake of Sam Flynn going from shareholder to possibly CEO, and promoting Alan to Chairman. This may set up some interesting drama, but I don't know if attempted murder would necessarily need to be a part of that. I wouldn't want TRON taking cues from THE GODFATHER.
Also, I found something odd - I went onto the ENCOM International website today (to refer back for some information I might use in my fanfic) and none of the execs on that pictures page (except for Alan) were in the boardroom scene in the movie. Fake, and not even well done. That article is horribly written. Mentioning that he was already violating ordinances is fine, but it would have had to follow it up with info... that just kinda rambles judgementally without any info. Fakkkkke articllllle.
