It's not so much jumping to a ledge (though I have been frustrated by falling to my death numerous needless times) it's only really jumping UP from a grab point to a ledge.

I'm using a keyboard, because controllers are so overpriced. Maybe one day i'll go back to it if I get a controller, and see if that makes a difference. Shame, because I liked being in The Grid, as frustrating as it was!

I can't recall exactly where you are, but I know there were a few jumps in the game that required me to hold the direction keys for a different length of time than normal. For instance, in the outlands just after you leave Flynn, while trying to make it up a long shaft of rock there was a jump to a handhold on the far right that I needed to hold the "D" key for just a little longer than normal, even after jumping. There was also at least once where I had to hold a key for less time than normal.

You probably have grid matches set to offline. Though I dont think thats it. Have you tried "Custom Matches"? Thats what I always click on to find different hosts online to join in on.

I'm stuck on the last level of the PC version. The part where the two Black Guards come out, I can't beat them. Can anyone offer advice? I watched a youtube and he used some bomb disc move that appeared to knock them back and eventually knocked them off the level, I can't figure out how to do the move though.

Frustrating cause I pretty much flew through the game without having to use a lot of techniques. I don't feel like the game adequately prepared me for this fight, although I can last for 7+ minutes no problem. I can't damage or even budge the Black Guards though which makes the rest of the fighting pointless. I ended up watching the last level on YouTube, and was pretty chuffed to see that there wasn't much more from where my game glitched or whatever. Also liked the ending. Very pleased I didn't miss much and much less annoyed by the troubles!

I bought it from eBay, overseas. It's not too much of a loss, considering the stress I went through! But I can still play it up to that point. LOL! Dude, thats like every game made today man. All new games requires elaborate button pressing. But I know, I totally feel you on that. I loved simpler control patterns too.
Though after some practice, I was able to master the kinetic movements for this game.
