I've been a Disney MR club member for a long time - they give out 5 points per month for a newsletter, and also every now and then they have free codes. I subscribe to a couple of Freebie blogs which alert me every time there's a new code.

Plus you know codes from your DVD movies work. I've got 2500 points saved up right now, I haven't bought much ever...got a free-mug at Color-me-mine was the only thing I've redeemed. Came pretty quickly too.

I would love to have the giclees, but I'm not into the posters.

Though perhaps I could be persuaded to get one for someone else who wants one and doesn't have a DMR membership.

Well this is suckola...I was able to use my 3 ticket stubs for points (awaiting their approval) but my three Disney DVDs are looking like they are ineligable. They have no magic codes in them and I bought them waaaaay before the eligibility date. I doubt even my copy of the original TRON soundtrack would count.

CD soundtracks....You have to have an eligable CD and then let your computer run it so it can verify it. It won't work if you purchased a soundtrack via digital download.

I just wanted to say that because I know alot of people did the digital download thing and after trying to bank points on the Disney site, I saw no means for getting points off a digital download. The site however does offer the soundtrack for digital download, of which I gather they give you points if you DL it through them and not ITunes or Amazon or somesuch, but I could also be wrong on that account too.

I know, it sounds like a "no duh" thing but you could get other qualifying merch of Amazon, like CDs or DVDs that could theoretically be eligable for points.

Both times I've ordered something from DMR I've gotten the shipping notice AFTER I received the item already - so that bodes well for you if you've gotten the email already. It'll probably show up tomorrow or the next day
