Sign me up for the "The Ultimate TRON Experience" set.
Even though it won't affect me by getting that set, I'm still disappointed that they used that AWFUL cover for the stand-alone Tron Blu-Ray release. What were they thinking?

Agreed. Horrible cover. I will have to scan my 20th anniversary edition and resize it to the blu ray dimensions. Will have to crop out where it says "20th anniversary" though.

That is actually a Flynn figurine. I remember seeing it on a website that sells all kinds of classic collectibles- I also remember that the figure's circuits glow in the dark. They had A TON of different sci-fi collectibles, but only a few TRON things. If I remember the site, I'll post the URL.

Certainly, my fellow program! Wish I knew Photoshop! I'm still rockin' Microsoft Paint, LOL!!!! My 10-yr old Niece LOVED Tron Legacy, and wanted to see my 20th Ann'y Special Edition TRON DVD. I told her I'd do her one better- I made her a copy ( from my personal copy on my iPod Touch) and used Memorex Expressit to make my own custom label for the DVD. Didn't have time to make a jewel box cover w/insert. I may post a picture of it.
Also my 4-yr old Daughter LOVED Legacy, and she's always getting Legacy and TR1N mixed up, saying, "Daddy, can we watch your TRON:Legacy DVD?", to which I reply, "It won't be on DVD until April, Sweetie". We sat down yesterday, after watching, "Bubble Guppies" together, and watched TRON -again. She loved it!!!!! She also wants a custom DVD box-I may get pretty creative this time around.

Next year I seriously think that they are going to release the 30th anniversary edition of Tron. I mean it would keep the hype up and we all know that we'd all buy it. That's when they'd probably release it on Blu-ray and dvd.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I'll be getting the non-Limited 5-disc set. That way I don't ever have to see that truly awful Classic Tron art... it's an insult and a shame and as a graphic designer I think the intern that lazily threw that together should not be hired on full time (sorry, rant over)... and I won't be stuck with the clunky light-up plastic thingy.
It's not bad for what it is, but I always find special editions to be perplexing. They don't sit on the DVD shelf well and they are usually more of a paint than anything. But that's just a personal thing.

I'll be doing the same, even if it's more expensive (depending on how/what coupons are issued.) I'm still a little in shock that the original cover isn't place-holder art.

Yeah, same here, JonWes. I really thought that the Collector's edition would be better. That plastic ID Disc looks flimsy.
Oh well. Always the 30th anniversary edition next year, ey?

Ordered the 5 disc non-limited edition, and they gave me a a late March delivery date. Weird, ey?
More accurately, They told me that the estimated delivery date was March 28th-31st

That is the one I want to get, the superduper ultraawesome fantastic disc edition. I really, really want to lay my preorder but what if it wasn't capable of being played here in NZ? Are Blu-ray discs region-free? If they are, what of the DVD and digital copies included in the pack?

You guys are Region 4 I believe, UK Region 2 and US Region 1. Although I have just read on a web page that Blu-rays are coded differently by letters A, B and C. Not heard of this before but here is the link:

The other option is to get a code for your player to make it multi region.
