I've heard numerous people claim that Flynnlives definitely had something to do with events leading up to the film, but I haven't been able to actually make sense of it. The portal 'opened', there was a quick video clip of Clu, so... what, was FL responsible for the page getting through to Alan?

That is certainly what the viral implies. That Flynn Lives users, under the same assumption Sam makes about the page being from Kevin, allow for the page to sent from Clu.
I also felt that the news announcers line about "Flynn's Supporters" was a nod to us as well.

Well, the thing about the page is true. The the last mission of the ARG is to hack an old telephone server, which results in CLU's page to reach Alan.
Also, Alan makes mention of Sam's annual "prank of the company", which ties into the San Francisco Encom Press Conference where Alan announces about Space Paranoids being placed online (in the video from Sam's side of things, he talks about Marv and his like for burgers). If you actually watch the video, you can pretty much see at the idea of how Alan was still fighting for Flynn and his problems with Encom (which is more apparent in the film). And it also reflects Encom's mindset about Kevin Flynn, which is also seen in the film.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Some say that Flynn Lives also refers to the end of the movie.

Thanks. I just hope you actually watched Part 1 and Part 2, as well as the "Flynn Lives" group meeting before the Encom San Francisco presentation.
Of course, at the end of the ARG, there is a hint that the ARG isn't as over as it may be. Zack, the leader of "Flynn Lives", hints that he may call on all FL members once again (which to me suggests that if Disney greenlights a sequel, if and when it comes around that time to promote it, the ARG is going to come back large and in-charge.
Additional Note: Just to point out, just because the track is called "Flynn Lives", doesn't mean it's about Kevin Flynn. Remember, Sam's a Flynn.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

I only know the bits and pieces I've encountered in the game, some of the details are a little hazy. I know there's a Wiki about ARGs in general, which is temporarily offline, but I don't know if they have a summary of all that occurred and what was revealed (the Tron Wikia doesn't have anything about what was revealed in the ARG, but gives some "history" to the Tron story, for example: how Dumont Shipping, the company's containers making up Sam's house, got their name).
