Anybody know if the Clu lightcycles will be restocked? I drove to the one Walmart that used to have them and they are gone.

They were clearanced out. They usually don't restock such items.

I know the walmart by me has started to do a massive reset of the toy aisles. Tron had one peg for the 3 figures and 1 peg for the 7 inch . Now there are several pegs set aside just for the tron figures. At the moment they only have a flynn figure and one 7 inch rinzler. but since talking to a walmart employee they are planning to get more in since this reset is going to be for items they plan on carrying for a few months

The WalMarts up here in the Seattle area are resetting too. They're all out of figures, but they have restock slips taped up everywhere, and the one figure they had left at the one was a series 2, so I have hope.

I'm going on a hunt to the north tonight. If I find CLU lightcycles anywhere, I might be willing to proxy buy.

Just another scalper with a bullshit answer. ALL clu light cycles were printed this way. this is how mine is displayed as well. Hell the tron pop up shop had the same figure. so to the idiot whom believes this is rare, it's not. You're just ripping off people. Such a shame.

My Wal-Mart reset and there are 4 pegs of deluxe, 5 pegs of core, 6 pegs of diecast, and room for vehicles. So it must not be going away everywhere.

Yeah that's one of the most disappointing things to find out about this line. I've watched it from afar but I usually shop at Target and not Walmart. I didn't realize at the time but I always thought it was weird that there was only a blue and an old school light cycle at Target. Once I saw the movie I really wanted the toys, but I normally see movies at the end of their run. Clu's cycle had already been clearanced at my Walmart, I felt lucky to find it.

Now kids are going to get this movie on DVD and want to battle light cycles. But the only ones available will be Sams and some cycle that never even fought on the grid. Are parents supposed to pay 2.5x original amount to get a Clu cycle? How are kids supposed to race cycles if there's no bad guy cycle? Really bad decision, made poorer by Walmart pulling the plug on their line early.

That said, several of the Walmarts around me still have full price product on their shelves (I scanned it to make sure.) So I'm still waiting to grab some stuff here (although other things have been clearanced like the Clu cycle and I got a 4" guy for $7.) I noticed the die casts are going cheap (3.99), at Target, I got the last Flynn Lightcycle, one of the last one man flyers, and at Toys'R'Us, I somehow grabbed the last villain pack (8.24), now I just need a centry lightcycle, 3 man flyer, Grid Limo, Sam's Lightcycle, and the light runner.
