*stumbles out of closet- which I have converted into an arcade-lounge-love-nest... (Don't think on it too hard)*

Indeed, this thread is for the ladies to squee, frequent closets, make programs (or users) purr, make bad guys into plushies, claim people and all that jazz. The warning is on the door. No complaining about the estrogen is allowed in these walls.

Let's see we can also talk about pairings, contemplate hot alternate versions of characters (think Clu in punk clothes, or whatever works for you), and whatever you think you might get eyerolls about in other threads.

I won't talk about my ships because some of them are... I'm not ashamed, but some people may never unsee it. Instead I'll ponder Tron as a WWII army officer. Mmmm.

Now, I'm going back to my lounge. Knock before entering.

I'm glad SOMEONE understands. *throws another disk at LWSrocks* I'm content to cuddle for now, though. *cuddles closer to Rinzler* Mine!

Yay, I see all has gone well since I went to attempt to de-rez myself on ski slopes. If I may interrupt the love-in for a moment for some more practical stuff (the Trons are wearing me out, what can I say):

1. How would you wear your hair in the Grid? (I can't figure it out. A bun is most practical in general, but would be hard to fit under a helmet. Can't figure out anything else that wouldn't get in the way most of the time, though)

2. Eye candy. We need some pics, guys!!

What do you want? I'm busy.

Program, please!

Yes, but dear, my guess is that you don't have long hair....not if it's short enough to put into spikes without defying physics!

Yes, I thought of something like a crown braid, though really anything on your head would still impede a helmet (just not quite so much). I dunno. Maybe just some sort of loopy braids at the back, like make a couple braids and loop the ends up a couple times. Or a very flat bun sort of thing that is kinda a complicated braid-weave thing (some Amish use it; it's very secure but relatively flat and I only require one or two hairpins to hold it up EVEN for Highland dancing which is essentially a bunch of jumping around). (The thing you need to understand about my hair is that it is knee-length, so some sort of containment, besides my customary one or two braids that still flop around a lot, is definitely necessary if running around kicking ass!)

Loving the eye candy for sure. Tron Unit gave me permission to snatch that picture of pre-evil Tron from T:L as long as I re-host it, so perhaps tomorrow I'll get that up here too.

In the meantime...well, uh, I was about to link to the "characters" page of Tron Wiki so everybody could go and look at their favorites, but it seems to have been....deleted????????????? *sob*

Wow, your hair is knee length? How long did it take you to grow it that long?

RE: Ladies' night!

It's been about ten years now...I had long-ish hair when I was a kid, then in about 4th grade cut it off and it was chin-length (varying sometimes to shoulder length) from then until high school. But the problem with hair that short is that you have to style it, and I am not a morning person so I never bothered to get up early to wash my hair and make sure it looked nice and all (I've always been an evening shower-er so I'd be sleeping on it all night and it wouldn't look nice in the morning). Therefore it always just hung all limp, and I thought, well, if it's going to hang straight, it might as well be long and hang that way because it's supposed to. The last time I cut my hair was for my senior pictures (it was starting to get to scraggly length so my mom suggested I cut it). And I've been growing it ever since. I've trimmed (rarely, too lazy) but not actually cut it. Really I just wanted to see how long it would get...at some point I mean to trim back to classic (just below butt) or hip length (procrastinating because my usual hairdresser is the one I used to use before I moved out and I want to stick with her because I trust her and because she's used to my hair...but she only works on weekdays so I haven't gotten around to going to visit my mom on a weekday yet; gotta find a time I have a day off).

But, it's long AND thick, so styling can be interesting at times. Useful, though--my big fat bun saved me once when I fell backwards while skating and smacked my head on the ice. I never skate with my hair out of a bun now.

My hair is past my shoulder blades now, and growing. I want to have it very long, so now it's just a matter of waiting.

There is this thing called gravity, dunno if you've heard of it. Long hair doesn't stand straight up very well against it. From the mohawks I've seen, I'd say 6-9" would be the max, IF you used some sort of super-duper hold gel, and that doesn't define as "long hair."

True. *cuddles on loveseat with Rinzler* But, as my mom teaches high school chemistry and physics, I get to play with hers whenever I want. Is fun.

Uh, no. I said it because you said you spike your hair. Therefore it is not long if that is possible. Haven't we already been through this?
