Okay, I gotta say...I don't get the purring. Seemed to me kind of a creepy clicking. There was some other movie that featured that same sort of noise, but I can't for the life of me think of what it was. It might've been "Signs" and the noise the aliens made? No wonder it creeps me out so much; that movie scared the shit out of me (and my ex. Trust me, you have never seen any two people hold each other so tightly in a movie theater). No idea why, as I've seen "scarier" movies than that, but...

I got a double header tonight...we watched "The Mechanic" (any movie where Jason Statham is shirtless within the first five minutes is automatically a good one, TYVM) and then T:L in 3-D right after. Could a girl ask for more? (aside from possibly a theater that passes out chocolate and red wine)

The fanfic is still rolling along...still adding to both my canon and non-canon parts. I'm finally getting into development of Tron's character...and Alan's...and even Lora's. (I did have to kill her off, though. Because when I started writing, I didn't realize that it was in Tron 2.0 that she died, so I wrote as if it was Tron canon and it was kinda an essential part of the storyline as it pertains to Alan. It's okay though; it fits in pretty well and I'm punching in a lovely depressing little clip in my non-canon section too.) Now Quorra is the next one I need to dig into...haven't been able to yet, but I'm sure it'll come just like the others. I need to work up more in my canon section...there's one small part I'm thinking of changing around, but it means I would have to ditch some stuff that I've already written that I like, and also change around some ideas I've had. And I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I like this idea I want to add and think it's most true to Tron's character. Grr.

So now I've got the soundtrack stuck in my head at the moment. My poor partner. "Dude, Daft Punk did the soundtrack? The whole thing?? Like, this is Daft Punk right here? Wow, I love Daft Punk!" Duh. Me, during EOL Club scene: "See, Daft Punk, okay?" Him afterward: "I totally should've figured that out!"

Neutral forces agree that it's a purr. Or very, very, close to a purr. I can see why some may fight it um....intriguing.
