Now mabey this is something I missed when I saw it opening night. But I remember seeing in the previews, some of the programs faces being projected in their helmets(hence the impulse projection figures we have). Now I understand that certain parts of the movie they may show for a teaser trailor or even a preview may not even make it into the final cut (the whole scene of Clu chasing down the lone progam on light cycles then taking him out with his disk) But I thought the whole projected face thing was going to be a big part of the movie..order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

I noticed the same thing. I think the projected face aspect was only part of the concept trailer, and was later dropped -- probably for production expense reasons. In that same trailer, even Flynn's face seems projected, a bit like a cathode ray tube image. Neat effect, but cost prohibitive. In light of the actual film, it's interesting to note the little differences between the concept short, and the full feature.

That was just the concept trailer, which helped Kosinski get a green light from Disney to make the film. I'm very glad they didn't go that route. Was too CG... The faces looked fake. Granted, it's okay for Clu's face to look CG in the actual film, but I couldn't imagine every program looking like that.
I'll have to watch the concept trailer again, but I didn't feel as though the faces were being projected. I thought there were faces already in there, but had scan lines cast upon them from helmet lights or the faces actually had digital scan lines. Projected faces? I didn't get that from it.
I don't think it was dropped for expense reasons. I think they just decided to use real actors on the grid rather than CG'fied ones like we see in the concept trailer. Thank goodness.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

The way thought it was going to work is that it was only going to be when they had their full helmets on and only if they wanted their opponent to see them. Not on all the time.
