I believe what Sam downloads onto the chip is the data that was stored on his dad's disc. Much like programs wear them on their back? Sam now wears it around his neck as a pendant. |
I concur with both of your points.
With regard to the latter, remember, Kevin's disc wasn't destroyed,so the information therein should have been preserved. And considering what was on his disc was a "mirror" (as indicated in the Armory scene) than it should be a reasonable copy of Kevin's digital self, and likely could be downloaded to recreate Kevin at some point in the future.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Exactly! But I interpret it as Sam transferred the entire Grid off to his memory card onto the mobile device. I think he's going to use the ENCOM server privately without anyone knowing so that he can fix his father's Grid, visiting the world back and forth, using a new Shiva model along with Quorra.
So if Flynn is still alive but with millions of pieces all over the place, then CLU is not far behind . One thing you may want to think about is if CLU is that clever enough to make a phone call to the outside world by way of the pager, then would'nt he be this smart enough to make a back up copy of himself in case Flynn takes him down?
I'm quite shocked the LOST writers were that foolish NOT to think of that. |

I'm going to venture a guess and say it's the Grid and probably Flynn's data, but how Sam could fit all those other programs in there doesn't seem likely.
. . . and if he saved it, is the Grid still active on the SD card? and did it automatically restore any deleted programs/objects? and where does that leave Tron/Rinzler?
. . . I made more questions than answers. Oops.

Storage wasn't nearly as plentiful in 1989 as it is in 2011 and Flynn wasn't sporting a multi-rack storage system either.
Given that this was basically a restricted development environment, I'd suspect that the actual data could fit within that USB key without problem.

All I can say is that if he lives... imma be PISSED. I'm sick of franchises creating piss-poor attempts to keep the fanboys interested by restoring dead characters with obviously paper-thin reasoning for doing so. He made his sacrifice. If he then was still alive, that last scene has no emotional value whatsoever, and the critics will gripe to the point that no one would see the next installment.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

The explosion did not take out the whole grid.
The implied geography of the grid is Tron city at the center. The wastelands surround the city. The sea is beyond the wastelands...at least in the direction the Solar Sailor barge was traveling. The portal is of course beyond the sea...or at it's farthest reaches.
In the last shot, the explosion stops and implodes just as soon as it reaches the shore to the wasteland.
Perhaps something equivalent to a port, harbor, or infrastructure like roads near the shore might have got destroyed, but not the grid at large and not the city.
The surface of the water hardly even got disturbed, so you know Tron is fine.

true. it was even confirmed in a moderately recent interview that Tron's alive, but dormant at the bottom of the SOS.
if the grid was wiped, there wouldnt've have been nything there at the end. just an empty digital space. there was clearly a shore line. but that couldnt be there if everything wuldve been erased.
he was transferring the grid to that flash drive. No doubt about it. He Sill fights for the users... |

Right, hence why I was saying they kinda screwed up...because they appear to have killed off the two characters that MAKE the film, so they're either going to have to scrabble to bring them back, or...not have the two characters that make the film. What do you want? I'm busy.
Program, please!
Chaos.... good news. |
