I've look up pictures of the Sigel Dare action figure via Google Image Search. Thanks to Google, I found this site here with better pictures of the Sigel Dare action figure, including closeup shots of the head: http://one-18th.com/index.htm/2009/08/sigel-dare-star-wars-comic-pack/
After looking at the pictures, I can say that I am still not 100% if the figure is good enough for a Yori action figure. But from my initial looking at the figure from the pictures, I can say that it does seem a bit off from being a close enough likeness for a young Cindy Morgan. But this is just going from the pictures. Like I said before, I may have to see the figure in person to really know for sure, as the lighting in a picture can drastically affect how a figure looks (going from my own experience taking pictures of action figures). But, I'll keep my eye out for it.

However, I'm still going to check out other possible figures. In fact, I've considered opening the question up over at Figure Realm to see if any other suggestions come up that I can look into.

Thanks. I'm sure female heads can't be that difficult to find, though. I mean, especially with the tons of Star Wars, Marvel Universe, and some G.I. Joe figure lines that have women in the mix all at the 1:18 scale. I've come across a Juno Eclipse action figure from the Star Wars line that looks promising, but I can't be sure on it. Is it really difficult in finding female heads in the 1:18 scale?

Besides, I'm not saying that the figure you suggested may not be the right one. It's just that I'd have to see it in person to know for certain.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Yes, iWith any given property, most of the characters and marketed for young boys 6-12, and girls just don't really play a big role in the male child's action adventure playtime. A few characters are exceptions to this rule like Scarlet and Princess Leia, but most female figures, such as Juno Eclipse, are produced with adult collectors in mind, meaning they make far fewer of them, the distribution is limited, and many are exclusives. So while they do exist, they are not common and oftentimes you end up paying a premium for any female supporting characters.

I apologize if I came off at all rude in my past replies, I assure you it wasn't my intention. I do value your input and suggestions, Boba.

I honestly wasn't aware that there is a small percentage of female figures produced. I would have thought almost half of the figures produced on whatever series of Star Wars would have at been female, especially for those that are popular female characters such as some versions of Leia (especially the Leia in the Gold Bikini). The same with the Marvel Universe action figures, I would have figured there'd be just as much female characters as there are male characters because of the popularity of certain female characters like Rogue, Storm, Mystique, Invisible Woman, White Queen and Black Widow (just to name a few). I'm learning something new every day.

You would think so, but the majority of figures these days are main heroes like Wolverine, Iron Man, Luke, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Duke... for every 1 female in the GI Joe line, there's like 35 males. That's why there are so many sites selling custom-designed female parts for figure customization. It's super frustrating. I always thought there were more out there myself until I got into customs last January and found out I had very few options.

Prime example of this: the figure of Quorra has a helmet.

But at least certain ones are still out there, like Sif from the Thor line or Black Widow from The Avengers line.

Thinking about it now, I can see how you mean. The Walking Dead comic action figures, you've got three male characters (two zombies, and Rick Grimes) to one female (Michonne), while when it comes to the TV show figures, they've got four male characters (two zombies, Rick and Daryl) and no female characters.

But then again, when it comes to some lines based on franchises, some of them are more male heavy in nature. For example, The Real Ghostbusters from Kenner. The only female primary character in the animated series (in which the line is based on, not the movie), Janine is the only primary female character featured on the show, so naturally, due to there being more male characters to the one Janine, the action figure line reflected that too. Of course, I could be wrong with that interpretation.

I'm tossing this idea out there, but I want an opinion. I was at Family Dollar in town and found a couple of action figures from the James Cameron's Avatar line. I picked up two figures of the character Parker Selfridge, who was played by Giovanni Ribisi in the film. I picked up the figures because I figured the body would be great for a base for a figure representation of the character of Louis from Left 4 Dead. After looking at the figure's head a bit, I think the likeness of the face may be close enough to be Sam Flynn (it may need to be repainted and hair may need a bit of sculpting). I couldn't find a whole lot of upclose pictures of the figure, but I found a site that has some good shots of the figure enough.

Here's a page that has pictures of the figure: http://tvandfilmtoys.com/index.php/2010/11/parker-selfridge/

What do you think? Is the head close enough to be a Sam Flynn head? Or do you think the sculpt is too far off to be it?

I think what you'll find is that those Avatar heads are too small. The Avatar figures were a small 3 1/2"-3/4" and the Tron figures are closer to 4". He has a golf club though, which is a serious plus.

Okay. I figured I'd ask, because the sculpt looks seems like it could be useful as a head for a Sam Flynn. I'll just keep looking then.

I found that the Peasant Anakin head from the Star Wars vintage series is nearly perfect after you slice off the braid. you don't even need to modify the neck joint.

That sounds like a good one. I see a few of them up on eBay, and you're right. Cut the pony tail off and the head has a close enough likeness for Sam Flynn. The hair looks a little bit poofy, but I'm sure that can be remedied.

I hope its not the person that got banned. I definitely would like to know if its possible to just swap the LEDs than it is to swap out the whole board. If so, i'd probably do that instead of swapping out the whole board for my TRON custom figure.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Yeah, I could do that. I know how to do that. But I also know how to solder circuitry, and if it's easy just to swap out the LEDs, I'd like to attempt that.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

i'm still here! just haven't been able to sit down and get to it. i think this is the link i'm thinking of for the leds; http://www.kingbrightusa.com/lobbyaphb1608.asp i noticed theres a custom button on the left menu and from what it looks like, they could do a custom board. would have to send them some pics and what to do. as far as adding/moving the led on the core board;
the led is on d5, sam's is on d7, and d9 is unused. those 3 slots are usuable for leds. i'm assuming that if you'd fill the 2 slots with leds, that all 3 would light up at the same time. the big problem is the battery terminal solder joints, mainly the one under the d5 led. it blocks a bit of light from getting to the lower torso.

*edit* just looked on the site again and seen red/white smd. might have to sit down and type up an e-mail to them about a custom board perhaps.
