I have not seen it in 2D or Real 3D, but IMAX was gorgeous. Crisp, bright, and none of the blurring or color distortion I experienced with Avatar when I saw Avatar at a "normal" 3D theater. I may have to make IMAX my preferred 3D viewing choice, even though it is spendy.

I plan on seeing it 2-3 times in the theater Didn't feel I gave it a fair chance the first time. Want to watch it the next time with a more open mind. ___________________________________

Seen it once in 3D, and would like to catch it one more time in 3D, although I'm not averse to seeing a regular session (I read one review that reckoned watching a dark movie with what are effectively sunglasses diminishes the image quality). I don't think I'll see it more than that, though; (a) I want to put my disposable income toward other things (like Tron: Evolution) and (b) I found out by watching The Fifth Element five times at the cinema that it is possible to watch a movie to death.

I've seen it three times so far, twice in IMAX 3D and once in 2D. Nothing can compare to the sheer awe factor the IMAX has, the visuals, the sound, everything. I remember my legs shaking during the first recognizer scene, it's very immersive. I plan to see it at least one more time in IMAX, soo worth the extra $6.50.

Saw it last Friday at the Imax with a friend who I just showed the original to. I had my awkward moments in the movie but came out satisfied.
Then saw it it 3d at a smaller cinema with my dad who was a fan of the original.
I'm thinking of going just ONE LAST TIME at the Imax maybe at the end of this week...

Tron Unit Wrote:Just got back from seeing it a fourth time in Imax. Couple of observations; Quorra's voice sounds electronically vocoded when we meet her in the light runner like the other programs but then the effect "wears off" by the time we get to Flynn's safehouse and she sounds like the Users. The baton "blades" are never used as weapons in actual combat, only as defensive posturing. My guess is it would have infringed on Lucasfilm's trademark for "laser swords." Do programs breathe? What are the cables attached to the helmets of the Black Guards and why does Rinzler make that coffee purcalator sound? |
I noticed Quorra's voice too. I thought it was because she was wearing the helmet when she first rescues Sam. When she allows it to de-form off her head, her voice sounds normal. "Word to the Motherboard!" - IsoLine |

Once, in RealD, in a cinema where the sound was just waaay too loud.
And like #1, it'll wait for the VHS (now DVD/BluRay) before I see it again.
However unlike #1 I don't think I'll be seeing it again much after that.

Me and the MRS are seeing it in 3-D tomorrow afternoon.
This will make our third viewing.

5 times total and plan on seeing it more. 3 imax shows and 2 real 3d shows. I prefer the imax 3d because it actually is alot more pronounced than the real 3d version. The movie is just plain addicting to me. I love watching CLU fly off the handle! :-)abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

For free! Then you have to go at least 3 times and pay for it. We all have to do our parts!
Anyway, I've been 3 times myself so far and will go at least once more. I keep having to find family/friends who haven't seen it yet and convince them to go.

Twice in digital 3D, once in IMAX. Hoping to go at least a fourth time, if money permits. It's rare for me to go to the cinema, let alone more than once or twice. The Grid is meant to be 'bad' but I much prefer it to the real world!

Unfortunately I've only seen it twice. I wish I could see it a thousand more times, either that or just live inside the Grid. seriously!!!! TRON FANS

I have seen it 3 times so far, and i'll be taking my girlfriend to see it as soon as she is back from holiday. I absolutely love Tron Legacy. I have enjoyed it more with each viewing. Each time i have seen it i have been noticing new things in the story and also from a visual aspect too. Thats how i know that in the long run, it will be one of my favourite films of all time...
