Yeah, me and my fellow TRON-fans were the only ones laughing too... Also, a lot of the reviews say how humourless the movie was... methinks they didn't "get"it.

Impossible for this post to imitate the perfect tone of Kevin's voice, but I liked this one from one of the flashback scenes:
Clu: Flynn!...am I still to create the perfect system?!
Kevin Flynn: (sounding just like the Dude).......yea.....?

Yeah. Wheat King said it. Flynn's whimpy "Yeah" had the audience at El Capitan rolling. He sound so vulnerable but appropriate.

There were big laughs the first time I saw it, packed IMAX.
Few laughs the second time I saw it, also packed IMAX.
Of course, the second audience seemed a "general" audience that was older than the first, when it was primarily all of us TRON and sci-fi fans all bunched together, having a romp.

I saw it again today, same theater, way different crowd.
First Time (Midnight Premier)
College Age Crowd and Geeks (like myself). Mainly an overlap of the two
Second Time (9:30 AM Show with Morning Discount)
Kids (around 10) with parents mainly.

Ditto. That, and the look Quorra gives Sam on the carrier at the end after he says "Made it". And the 1-second smile she gives him when they shake hands in the LightRunner.
