Would've been cool, but I think it's fine the way they did it. Made for a better connection between Rinzler and Tron in my opinion.

| The non-reveal of Lori's fate. I was pretty disappointed that it wasn't confirmed or not that she and Alan got married. I hope it wasn't her that was Sam's mother. Again, maybe some of you caught some stuff I didn't, was this revealed in the film? |
Lora showed up at the Encom press conference in San Diego and confirmed that she is currently married to Alan Bradley. This is also confirmed in the comics.
