Supposedly Series 3 will focus on Tron: Evolution characters and someone who called SpinMaster was told they weren't making any more 7'' characters. But I'm going to go ahead and put some on my wish list. After seeing the movie, I was surprised to see that they'd really covered a the characters already!

My Wishlist:

Those last two almost seem like a given when you think about the opening scene of Legacy. I kind of wondered if that scene wasn't part of the reshoots... and the figures we saw weren't SpinMaster prototypes. The way they lit up and everything seemed very much like the SpinMaster figures. It'd be cool if the black jacket Flynn had an alternate, more maniacal face sculpt though. That way you could get two and have Flynn and Clu (and use an excess one to switch out the regular Clu figure's head!)

What does everyone else think?

Sounds solid! I would also like a Quorra, Sam and Kevin 2...with better headsculpts. Spinmaster needs to hire a sculptor that has worked on action figures in the past 5 years. Yikes.
Also, classic TRON figures would be awesome.

All good stuff! I'd also like to have a series of helmetless versions of Sam, Clu, Quorra, and Tron/Rinzler. I've always thought Sam's helmeted head on the 3" figure looks...odd. The bigger figures need better articulation and less restrictive joints all around.

I'd also like to see:

An RC light runner and grid tank, and better RC light cycles.

An actual grid playset with light up areas and sounds.

Replicas of the toys we saw Sam play with as a child in the movie.

Replica Bit puzzles like Kevin had.

Die cast vehicles of the different designs of vehicles that appear in Battle Grids for Wii.

Identity discs with holographic centers that display pictures.

Tron Monopoly (Hehe)

Having watched the movie today, I again think the Tron and Clu figures might have been early protos from SpinMaster. I mean, they might have just been props too... but often early prototypes of figures don't have as much articulation because that's added later at the factory... although you'd think those wouldn't light-up either.

But even if they aren't, I REALLY hope SpinMaster would jump at the opportunity to release toys like the ones actually featured in the movie. I also hope the line is popular enough they start branching out into toys from the Classic Tron.

Thank the users I have the deluxe Rinzler and Clu. Now if they do a Tron version with blue colors on the Rinzler figure, it'd be neat. However, I know they have the deluxe Black Guard in Toys R Us. I've seen them for the past two months now.

Good news on the 3 man Light Jet front. I'm currently working as a christmas temp at the Entertainer in England and I got bored on till today and decided to see what Tron stuff we had in stock. On the inventory though I noticed a listing for "TRON 3-man light jet". I actually missed it at first glance and thought it was a listing for the diecast model. However this listing was seperate and the diecast models have a bulk SKU. That means they all go under the name "TRON 2 diecast asst". So no matter the vehicle it would be under that SKU if it was in the diecast assortment, no exceptions.

Upon closer inspection their is another hint at it being a big vehicle... It was £29.99. £12 More than any vehicle out so far and probably just the right amount for a cosy 3 seater light jet. There were sadly none in stock in the company but I think it may have been placed on the list early so perhaps coming soon?
