Those USB drives look awesome, but I wonder where the USB port comes out on them. It isn't really clear. I can see what looks like the USB port on the front of Flynn's light cycle, but its harder to tell with the other one. For the USB's, I'm going to guess that part of it is a "cap" that comes off...
For the CLU, I think they should have led with that one. I don't see anyone caring much for Sam, but an evil Jeff Bridges? Sign me up!

Being that I went by the Clu name as a handle since 1985 I naturally have been at least getting the Clu stuff. Haven't opened the Ultimate Clu figure yet (since someone might get that for me for Christmas) but you know, from what I have seen Clu has an amazing arsenol of weapony!!
Battery is dead on the one I found, so after Christmas I will have to get the batteries changed.

TRU is seriously annoying me with the Clu figure. I ordered it on 11/29 when it was supposed to arrive there. Then it gets pushed to 12/7, then 12/17 and now 12/22. I hope it actually shows up then.

for what it's worth, yesterday i spotted one clu 12" figure hiding behind a bunch of sam flynn ones at the target on la brea and santa monica. it was on the very bottom shelf (next to/mixed in with) the star wars merch.
the tron section was a big disorganised mess with all the kids and adults moving things around.
yet to see any kevin flynn identity discs surfacing around here.

regarding the tron usb drives. i was able to get it on amazon awhile back. both should still be available.
for this particular product, i like the white one better. has lights and sounds. pic

There are a couple things that Clu says that aren't in the film. Sam's figure also says "Some things are worth the risk" which he doesn't say in the movie either. They must have been from cut scenes.

Not that there's anything wrong with mine...but...it's 256k. Not that I've ever maxed it out because I don't use it that much, but...it's 256k. And it does glow blue so I can pretend it's Tron-like, but. It's 256. In 2010. I'm just sayin. (It's kinda painful to think I paid something like 25 bucks for that thing back in college and now I can get like 4g for half of that...ouch. Am about to get one for my mom to store her knitting patterns on. This is some serious crap going on! My girlfriend pre-ordered the 12" CLU from Toys 'R Us for Christmas and they STILL haven't arrived! What's the deal here?

welcome to the Clu-less club. I have been dealing with Executive Customer Relations for Toys R Us since last week. Here is the break down for all of us who have ordered their back in Nov only to see the ship date back up over and over again to now 01/11/2011.
According to Toys R Us Executive Customer Complaint offices the shipper who sent the figures for Toys R Us Online shipped only Sam Flynn figures in error. The shipper was off all last week, so no correspondence has been provided to Toys R Us. There 219 orders that have to be filled. Per Toys R Us there are no CLU figures on any shelf at any Toys R Us locations. They assure that all orders will be filled once they sort this out with the shipper. Apparently they were not even aware that this was going on until I complained. The person I am dealing with is no customer service rep, they are a legit Exec that does not take customer call on a normal basis. I have yet to hear from them today, so I will call them in a few minutes to get another answer.
Edit: Just called and left a message for the contact I have been working with. I can tell you she is on the ball, and trying to get this sorted out. She is not a customer service person, she is a big wig.
Whats hysterical is that last week before I spoke with Customer Complaints, I was told by a call center supervisor that there was a "damaged pallet" that was causing this issue....LOL!!!!!!! I relayed that to Customer Complaints, and they were flabbergasted (sp)!

I received an email from Toys R Us today, and looked at my online account. Per Toys R Us CLU will be shipping no later than this Thursday the 6th. Finally! Thanks for the heads up. I'd been e-mailing TRU customer service and didn't get much of anywhere other than promises someone else would be contacting me and that never happened. But I looked at my order status and it says Items Located In-Stock so it should be shipping soon. Of course, I wish I would have known how long it was going to be because I have $14 in Rewards Bucks I could have put towards it.
