Been listening to it since 9:00 am, very awesome.
addendum:
IMO it's really lame that some Daft Punk purist fanboys are already whining about the TL soundtrack.. They're idiots if they thought it was going to all be dance-y techno-house stuff... dumba**es.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion "The film is about finding human connection in an increasingly digital world." - Joseph Kosinski

For those interested, this appears to be a link for the ACTUAL version of "End of Line" from the new album. It matches the track heard in the Light Cycle reveal from last year precisely. No youtube fake.

Update. Someone has uploaded the entire soundtrack to YouTube in the last 24 hours. I won't link back to it for fear of having it deleted due to copyright violation. Since the soundtrack is not available for download from Amazon for another week, I am satisfying myself with these files, which if you have Real Player can be downloaded from YouTube in .flv format. Just search YouTube for Daft Punk and OST and you will find the uploads. Get them fast, before they are gone!

I have to echo this comment. I've liked Daft Punk since I got their first demo discs at the radio station I worked at in 1996. The duo has definitely made its mark as a dance/house band, but like all musicians -- which is what I believe Daft Punk aspire to be, beyond mere DJs -- they're always going to be expanding and growing.
Some fans will drop away as the Daft Punk sound evolves. It's inevitable. I myself haven't really been into several bands I used to be into in the 80s and the 90s because their sound has evolved away from what I enjoy -- but that doesn't mean the band sucks or has somehow gotten bad.
IMHO Daft Punk will gain a whole world of new fans if the movie does well -- people who had never heard of them, will go back and buy all their old work, and their new work too. Just like Vangelis when he did Chariots of Fire and Bladerunner. |

I justed used RealPlayer to convert all 21 of the Daft Punk Tron Legacy TOS files from YouTUbe over to MP3. Sounds like there is a bit of digital loss, but as an "advanced" listen, prior to buying the actual soundtrack, this is excellent stuff. Going to put it onto my MP3 player and listen in the car at lunch. This is making me even more excited for the movie. Daft Punk really did some good work on this. Expansive electronica at its best!
