for the most part yes the paint does cover the light except for a few tiny spots where they didnt paint the black suit real well. with it being a orange color origionally if the light did show through i dont think itd be a pretty shade of blue light up, probably some odd brownish color. a blue ink would probably let the light through but youd still be stuck with some odd color and not blue. i thought about using some blue glow paint or uv reactive blue paint where the uv under a black light display would make it glow
