Did she actually use EL-tape to get that effect, or is it something like PVC backlit by LED's? I always heard that the tape was nowhere near as reliable as EL-wire for costuming and tends to get breaks in the glow consistency very easily.

...I think there's something off with the costume.
Quorra's top is has a little flare towards the bottom around the waistline. X_x (almost like a skirt)

Yes, it's EL tape. She got it from Glowhut.com, which was surprising to me because the EL tape segment that I ordered from Glowhut was very poor quality and shoddy construction. It looks NOTHING like what is shown in her pictures. I had thought about using it to create a TRON: Legacy costume, but it was so cheap-looking and badly made, that I dismissed it as a possible lighting source for a costume. But seeing hers makes me think that I may have just gotten a bad segment. Hi Kia,
Syuzi is a member of therpf.com and she explained that she normally creates her own designs, and this was kind of her take on Quorra, rather than an exact replica. She didn't intend on creating a replica, so that's why it looks a little different. I guess maybe I misrepresented things a little when I created the title for this thread. LOL! I just thought she did a great job on it, considering the difficulty people seem to be having in creating costumes from TRON: Legacy. From what I've read and seen, there are a lot of very creative and talented people doing some really excellent work out there!

Ah, that makes sense!
Thanks for the clarification.
I still need to design my own version of Tron Legacy circuity, adapting the ones from the classic 82 design. (I intend to turn both into costumes ... before the movie >_<)
