I've been scouting around, and unless I'm checking all the wrong places, I've heard nothing yet about any fast-food place like McDonald's or any other restaurant doing a promotional deal for TRON Legacy. I think McDonald's is the primary one to do any Disney-related promos, but I could be wrong on that. I'd love to see a TRON tie-in to a major chain restaurant, complete with a contest or kids' toys or both. ;-)abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I'd actually would prefer the film not have a fast food restaurant cross promotion. Some things, marketing/commercialization-wise is questionable, maybe going a little
over-board I think.
(like certain over-priced products and fashion accessories costing hundreds of dollars go a bit over-board IMO... >_> )

I can just see the Mcdonalds commercial for TL.
It opens with a zoom into the game grid and a digitized Mcdondalds with employees wearing circuit suits. Parts of the trailer is shown interlaced with TL toys from the special TL happy meal. Then some guy pulls up to the drive thru wiindow on a light cycle to pick up his glowing order. que jingle: doo-doo doo doo doo, I'm luvin it. As he drives off jet trail in tow.

Actually Disney is in an interesting position here for a cross promotion regarding a fast food tie-in.
They can have the Fast Food Folks (say that ten times fast) come to them and pitch their ideas for their kids meals and Disney can outright reject them based on QC something that Disney is very concerned over when it comes to this new version of TRON.
I can see the PR dept handling this one from the start months if not years ago when the announcement came down from on up high about the film becoming the next BIG project from Disney.
This time the whole thing is a huge franchise deal, more films will get made (based on BO returns 'natch) a series on the way (possibly ala The Clone Wars on CN) and video games (1 announced so far) and toys (we've seen them and they look sweet) and so forth and so on.
Now Disney seeing this endeavor as a huge push toward a larger franchise will pursue a fast food tie in, but only on their terms, not the fast food owners terms, QC is a must and if anything looks too cheap to them it'll get rejected outright I'm sure of it.
So who'll get the fast food tie in ?
We'll just have to wait and see won't we ?
