That was an actual comment on the "Derrezzed" trailer and is essentially what I have been reading over and over in many comments to the TL trailers. This is not just isolated to youtube either. If Daft Punk is the sole reason these people are going to see the movie, then they are going to be in for a very rude awakening. Unless it is a musical, the majority of a movie soundtrack is Incidental, i.e. background or atmospheric music.
My concern is that these dopes are going to realize 10 minutes in that TL is not going to be a 2 hour Daft Punk concert and will resort to talking and general annoying behavior until the next song plays.

Omg.... i am getting so so FRAKKIN tired of these uber-Daft Punk fans and posting comments like that! Are they that clueless? DP is composing the SCORE, and yeah alot of it is a blend of orchestrel music with ambient electronica to fit the mood and scenes of the movie. It's not all going to be like dancable like "derezzed" which I'm pretty sure is a special mix of one of the tracks from the score.
I am so sick of these goofballs saying "I'm only going to watch this movie because of the Daft Punk music!" It's not going to be filled with music like on "Discovery", or in the film "Interstella 5555"...
I won't even get into the haters, trolls, film elitists and their asanine comments...

Yea it can get tiring. But if they are seeing it for Daft Punk only, then I'm fine with that...Maybe it will get them to like Tron more, and that Tron Legacy can make more money. I'm betting that most of them are going to like Tron. The thing I'm tired of hearing is that Tron is some sexy movie,with people in cat suit's garbage mumbo jumbo... :  oints to the media::

This is probably the same group of 10 idiots posting over and over. It happens on the internet. YouTube comment boxes are made for idiots with nothing else to do. Don't get worried about DF fans turning up and spoiling the movie for you, they're are more than enough idiots out there who who seem to be happy at spending $15 to chat and goof off. A sad state of the times we live in. As for comments on YT? Ever looked at the movie site Ain't It Cool News? Some of the guys posting on there Talkbacks give the cuss "asshole" a whole new dimension.

Agreed. As much as I was a Tangerine Dream maven, I never went to a movie they scored with the intention of treating it like it was one of their concerts. I almost wish Daft Punk wasn't scoring the movie, the story is about the world of Tron and the Flynns, not Daft Punk.

I must say I've been worried about the ravers. There was barely any such thing when the original Tron came out, but now that there are night clubs that actually look like a bizarro Tron universe, I've been hugely worried that it'll become an epic rave symbol, and the Daft Punk hype definitely doesn't help. We could be looking at yet another 80's franchise being distorted into an icon for a teen music scene, and we just don't realize how bad it'll be yet.
Kinda sad too. I'd never heard DP before, but I LOVED the music they wrote for the trailer. But then "Derezzed" did absolutely nothing for me. And it didn't help that they played the exact same 0.5-second clip of DP about 20 times in the video. I thought at the very least, someone would've come up with a more interesting way of DJing in the Tron universe, to make it more interesting to watch than some guy simply standing over a sound board pushing buttons.
