Hey there tron fans. So, as it says, I have THE TRON ARCADE. Here is the story. I bought this machine a while back. I purchased it from a college kid that received it in high school for doing some work around his house. So anyway, once I got it home, I opened it up to check it out and clean out all the loose change in the bottom. After swiping about 12.00 in change from the bottom, I took a last swipe and wedged under a wooden cabinet brace was a coin. Once I dug it out, it was what looked like a chrome coin. One side said Bally's Aladdin's Castle, the other side, TRON! This sparked my interest. I blogged about the machine with the serial number because I exhausted all resources with Bally (which only makes casino gaming and workout gyms), Williams (which is now gone), and NAMCO (which bought out Bally's Aladdin's Castle but kept none of their records). After some time, I got an email from a guy who had the service records for my TRON with my serial number. He was a maintainence technician at the flagship Bally's Aladdin's Castle. When this machine was retired, he got first dibs and bought it. He told me that this spacific machine was used in a huge hoopla TRON opening at Bally's Aladdin's Castle with Bally's Execs, Disney Execs and Believe it or not 3 of the actors in the movie including Jeff Bridges. There were a handful of those coins made for them and they were Bally's property and Disney did not want the TRON insignia used for anything for cash gain unless they received royalties. So the coins after they hit the machine for the photo op were gathered in the back to be disposed of. After the nights festivities him and 2 other techs went through the machines to check them out, make sure they were in good running order and remove all the coins, for the next day. Of course not all of these coins were destroyed but he said with the final count there were only 9 missing before being sent to Ballys folks to be destroyed. He actually told me that him and the two other techs snatched one of them apiece. But he long since lost his. It makes since, because when I opened the back up, you could eat off of the boards and monitor. It is unbelievably clean. But, that is the story on my TRON ARCADE, and this is why I say it is THE TRON ARCADE!! I have had many offers on this machine, or just the coin, or both together and I guess I would sell it if I got the right price, but I just havent gotten it yet. If I can figure out how to post pictures, I will do so. Hope you all enjoy.

Read what and weap... lol... The tech I talked too said there were 9 missing when he made the count. Then they went off to somewhere else someone else swiped some. I understand that your dad was a tech there too. That just means that he was a bigger thief than the other 2 techs. I now have 1 token, I know one other guy that has 1 token, You have or had 5 or possibly 7 depending on if you are wanting to sell one at the moment. Either way, the story that the technician told me holds up and yours does not. Even if you had 7 + my 1 + and the other 1 = 9. I dont believe that is all that is out there, but noone else has come forth with another one and this would be the best time to come out with one. Until they do, that is all that is out there. I point everyone to this link to see this guys lies. He told everyone that there were only 5 of these tokens in existance and he had them all. Then he guaranteed that you would never find one anywhere else. Of course he was selling one at the time. Nothing like a good ol' sales tactic of LIEING! Lol. First he said there were only 5 in existance to sell the token and then after he sold the token, he tried to discredit the story the Technician told me by saying he already sold 2 and still had 5 of them. Which if true proves him a liar and a thief and still does not discredit my technicians story. Infact it backs mine up. Oh, the three stars who were at the main Bally TRON Tournament were Cindy Morgan, David Warner and Bruce Boxleitner. I have photos of them. Don't recall seeing Jeff at any of those events in the photographic record anyway. Can anyone confirm his appearance? I could ask Cindy I suppose.
