Does anybody know if there are plans to bring the demo of TRON: Evolution that people was playing at PAX 2010, to consoles?

Thanks, programs.

Not that I know of.

In fact, I don't think they've announced any plans to release any demos at all. Not too surprising.

TRON 2.0 (PC) name - TRON.dll
I'll play any mode, but I'm best at LC.

PSN - TRON-dll
XBOX Live/Games for Windows Live - TRONdll
-I have a Wii, DS, and 3DS. PM me to exchange friend codes.

Seeing as this is a Disney movie game and probably just a quick mindless beat em up interactive ad for the movie, it will definitely have a demo.

Alan: I was paged last night. Came from your dad's arcade
sam: So?
Alan: the number's been disconnected for 20 years!
Sam: THEN WHO WAS PAGER

doesn't appear to be a "quick mindless beat em up" seeing as how there is an actual combo system and some strategy involved

And T:E's story line is a prequel to the new movie and the story unfolds as you play the game. I played the demo at SD ComicCon, you have to use strategy and careful timing, just running around aimlessly and spamming the basic attack will get you killed over and over.

I tried to play the demo like that, just spamming the basic attack and running around aimlessly and I got killed over and over again. I didn't get past the first onslaught of senties doing that, when I used some strategy and comboed my attacks with my jumps and recharging by wall running over the energy re-charge strips, then I could survive the area and get to the next one.

Mindless" um, heck no... it is NOT "mindless" from what I played of it.

Thanks for the info! So what is your take on the game? Just based on what you played in the demo what are some of the pros and cons of the game?on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

from the demo:

Pro's

Very tough enemies, using combo's essential to killing them, mashing basic attack doesn't really work to well, since they tend to get strong hits on you and 5-6 enemies can cause you considerable damage.

Wall running and leaping is easyfor any one used to playing Prince of Persia games like Warrior Within. Doing those pakour tricks is fun.

Good voice overs

Beautiful visuals, the whole Tron world comes alive.

Controls take a bit getting used to if one isn't a Xbox360 player. Hopefully the PC version has game pad customization. Once one gets a hang of the controls, the controls are very responsive and percise.

Cons

Mini cinematics (like enemies rushing into a room and all the doors locking) should be skippable, not being able to skip mini cinematics in the demo I played got very annoying. Hopefully this is fixed in the final build of the game.

Some special attacks use up a bit too much energy, and restoring your energy for those specials is a bit bothersome sometimes.

The running animation is a bit akward.

There should be alternate way to refill health other than running over power strips on the wall or jumping off tiny pods on the ground.

I think the derezed enemies should leave behing energy recharging bits as an alternative to wall running which can feel repeatative sometimes.

Other than few minor flaws, it seems the game is shaping up to be a pretty solid action game.
The light cycle stage was very fun.
