I hit paydirt today at the last TRU in my area; was able to pick up the following:

Figures: (only had a few left and I snagged what they had left)

Rinzler
Clu
Clu's Sentry
Sam Flynn (picked up two of these...my wife wanted one too)

Die-Cast Vehicles:

Hero Pack Die-cast
Villain Pack Die-cast (my wife snagged this one...so I picked up another recognizer die-cast)

Kevin Flynn's Lightcycle

They also had the wall-riding lightcycle and the identity discs, as well as more KF lightcycles and Die-cast vehicles.

I'll probably hit the Disney Store at the nearby mall tomorrow to see if they've got anything.

Went to another Disney store today and they had the Light Runner! The only things that I have not seen so far are:
7" figures
12" figures
Deluxe disc
Clu's deluxe light cycle
Target 2" figure packs

I've picked up everything else.


I had a chance to open my Sam's deluxe cycle today, this thing is so sweet, my favorite by far. It lights up blue really well, has sounds, removable figure, and is very detailed. What makes me laugh about these guys that do these YouTube reviews is that they really do not know about the toy they are reviewing. The guy that did the deluxe cycle review was banging the cycle around to try and get it to work, when the instructions clearly show that it makes sounds and lights when pushed forward. He also didn't know if the "slug" figure was removable when again the instructions show how to remove it and even shows that you can pop the head off of the "slug" figure and place it on the regular core figure. The box also clearly says "works with core figures". Anyways, the deluxe cycle is awesome and well worth it!

Yeah, all of the figures have ball jointed heads, so they can be swapped out. It's a nice little touch.

Nice, I'm just missing the 7" figures and the deluxe disc. I'll be at ElecTRONica next week so hopefully they have them at the park.

I'm going to assume that since no decent review was posted by anybody that none of the blurbs on the action figure cases or vehicle boxes reveal any particularly interesting tidbits about the upcoming movie.

When reports of the action figures' availability started coming in, I wondered if Rinzler's figure might contain any suspicious wording concerning his identity, more than just "the best warrior on the Grid and ally of CLU." Then again, that is rather suspect in and of itself!
