Re: Tron merch heading to the clearance aisles. This makes complete sense. Since the movie has disappeared into the collective rearview of adults and kids and only two figures surfaced comprising a meager Wave 2, interest in the figures/vehicles/etc. appears to have all but dried up. This is to be expected though, especially with the movie now several months behind us and zero new product for over a month now.

The question is, why isn't Spinmaster willing to put more support behind this line for future waves? Wheat King stated SM is sitting on quite a bit of already produced stock, but in order to generate interest in the old you kind of have to be willing to take a chance on the new, right? Meaning, if you produce new waves (perhaps of the aforementioned video game characters with a smattering of movie thrown in) this will, by association, also move some of the older Tron movie product. Heck, it works for Halo: Reach and other similar action figure lines, so why not Tron? In semi-related news, I just got an S2 Clu with Katana from Disney Store. So if anyone was looking for an S2 Orange Clu with Katana that's your best bet (40% off right now.) My S2 Clu purchased at Target came with a baton. Luckily I haven't opened him so now he's going back

Wheat King, I wonder if you could clear up the deal with Clu's katana?

Why was it removed from the 12" and the 4" dolls in later S2 runs? Do you know which of the variants is rarer (S2 w/ Katana or S2 w/o Katana?)

Also, are there any other minor differences in the 4" S2 recards (I believe it was Sam, Rinzler and perhaps Black Guard) vs their S1 versions?

I have to agree after hearing this.

sorry to break the news about Castor. It was a Disney/talent approval issue and we COULD NOT - as the licensee - put the product on the shelf. No choice. the problem was fixed in time for the next wave...but we all know how that worked out.

Well at least Castor made it to the 2" action pack line....now all we have to do is find it or order it from Germany.
