Well, I'm just thinking of coinciding with the movie and games. Most of the time, you see toys from movies and games around the same time they come out, or a little before, but rarely after.

If the street date is Jan 1st, then why did some places already have shipments of series 2 months in advance? I can see maybe a few weeks, but a few months? Or is that just how things are normally done?

Well yeah, but what I've asked many times is what EXACTLY is coming out. Like what characters, what vehicles, what colors, will there be more image projection figures, and so on. We got sneak peeks of wave 1 before they came out, why not wave 2?

I already have the Sam disc...but I'm really tempted to get the Kevin and Rinzler discs too...but I really shouldn't. lol

I really want an Anon figure and Anon's lightcycle. I also still need to get the Sentry. Those are all of the figures I really want. Anon and a Sentry.

I don't think those will happen in Series 2. The only new figures for Series 2 are Quorra, Castor and Jarvis... it seems...

But Tron would be a good bet for Series 3 since that's a video-game heavy wave supposedly and Tron features in Evolution a lot. It would be cool if we got a younger Flynn in black jacket from Betrayal... but that might be asking too much. I wonder if he appears that way in Evolution? The bonus would be you could use that head for a helmet-less Clu!

Series I had 6 core figures, so my guess is that series II may have 6 as well. It's just that Quorra, Castor and Jarvis are the only one's known of from Series II. There *could* be three more series II core figures..
My guess would be that *possibly* the next three could be Siren Gem, Tron, Kevin Flynn (black robed version).

I was at Target this morning and they just opened a case of series 2 figures. Besides all of the reissued series 1 figures, it only contained 2 Quorras and 1 Jarvis, no Castor. Which is odd because he's shown as being part of series 2 on the cardback. Castor was held back from wave 2 at the 'last minute,' which is why he still appears on the card back. It's unfortunate, because I think he turned out to be one of the better figures, as well as one of the most interesting characters in the movie. He WILL be available in the future.

how soon in the future? and when can we expect TRON EVOLUTION figures? (we already know for a fact they are comming out..just don't know when..)

Series two also has Castor in it. I know there are going to be Rinzler and Kevin Flynn light up identity discs, but I have yet to actually see/find those yet.

Today I found more series two figures (which will be going on ebay shortly-I've found enough to save some for me and sell the rest).

I don't know what the deal with Castor is though. Based on the Art of Tron: Legacy book they changed the character's name from "Zuse" to "Castor," so maybe that has something to do with the delay in him getting on the shelves (doubt it, but you never know).
