BlueTronWarrior Wrote:I dig ALL of them. I'm just glad we have so many scales of figures- 2", 3.75", 7", and 12". Most toy lines don't have that many scales. |
I've never liked 12" figures because they are too bulky, never have a high count of different characters, high cost, and almost never have vehicles/accessories. The only appeal are the electronic possibilities in this case. This is the only "series" I'm skipping. (Okay, if they made a 12" Quorra, I would get that!)
The 7" figures are pretty cool, but only Sam and Clu are worth the cost. The other figures should not be as expensive but they have to make up margin with them. We can already see that the number of total characters we'll see in this line will be less than 3.75". I am still collecting this line, but without vehicles, there are limited possibilities. At this size, I'd really like to see the light up feature in the limbs.
The 3.75" line is the one to get and at first I was going to ignore them. I'm so glad that I was able to pick up a set and I've added additional Black Guards and more Sentries. 3.75" does have its flaws; Kevin Flynn looks all wrong and Sam Flynn really needed a blue tinted helmet, but overall the line is awesome because they managed to light them up and they are compatible with the deluxe vehicles. These figures also open up cross-overs with other 3.75" figures.
I still have yet to find any 2" available. Normally I would skip anything like this for other IP, but I'm really drawn in with Tron.

The word you're looking for is "scalper".
Scalpers are scum.

I bought a couple from the Disney website (taking advantage of the obvous mistake in pricing) I bought one for my two and a half year old son. Loves things the roll, light up and make noise. The battery cover for the Sam lightcycle is on the underside of the bike.
Also the Sam lightcycle doesn't roll too well - it's probably some sort of interference between the front wheel and the axle that makes the engine bit spin, or the part that activates the electronics, or the plastic casing around the wheel.

I really like the Black Guard figure, I think he looks great and his light-up stuff is neat. I'd say he's actually my favorite from the 7" figures.
He's not perfect and I wish he had some light-up stuff in his head to make up for the lack of electronics, but I still like the figure a lot.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online ----------------------------

I might have come off a bit harsh. I did get two 7" Black Guards because Clu can't just have one. They could have added "action" sounds if there was no dialog for them.I don't know why the 7" Black Guards and the 3.75" Black Guards look like different figures. I'm guessing that they can change suits depending on the environment.

I dunno, the little one and the big one look pretty similar, the big one just has the (removable) wings.
Also, the bigger black guard can have his batons tabbed into holes on his elbows, it's pretty cool.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill ----------------------------

I also received my Disney order today and it was the diecast as well. I called their CS with quickness. They were very helpful. At first they wanted to send a replacement, which I declined, I didn't want another shipment of diecast vehicles. So the rep said to send them back, to which I told her that they need to provide the shipping charges back to them since it was their mistake. They than told me to keep the toys and gave me a full refund. order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Correct - it's a Walmart exclusive - I picked up two for myself / kid and two for my friend (pending he provides the funds)
Otherwise those two may go back to the store.

Well you are alot calmer and nicer than I would have been I am sorry if they made a mistake they need to honor that price untill it was corrected. If you go to a store and grab something and the tag on the shelf says one thing and the scanner says another the store needs to honor it untill the price tag is removed. We shall see when I get mine.

...they're diecast after all? (Haven't gotten mine yet)
So I'm kind of surprised that they have pictures of different products and for different pricing too. O.o (The diecasts aren't even $4 either from what I remember, they're $6.50ish?)
How could they make such a serious mistake like that?
ETA-- Despite that, I'll just keep the diecasts anyway. :P

Agreed. Looked at their store site again-- apparently, they added more and ... stuff is still obviously not fixed. For Flynn's cycle, they have a picture of Sam (lol)

Interesting - doesn't say "Walmart" on the package (like TRU).
Walmart's *finally* putting out the TRON toys - so was able to pick one up...
Any other Walmart exclusives?

I found the 2" figures at Target last night. So happy to get that set. I also saw the Baton. There was a "Only at Target" sticker on that which was surprising because it's available at EE and Disneystore.com. I guess the Baton won't be found at other B&Ms.
Thanks for the info about Clu's Light Cycle being a Walmart exclusive. I would have searched everywhere else. For those unfamiliar with Star Wars exclusives at Walmart, you should know that there is a huge problem with Walmart's distribution of exclusives. They only send to select stores and most of the time do not put the item on their website (or if they do, it runs out of stock in a blink). They make a lot of people angry.
My two Walmarts have a 3rd world toy section. They must be considered "low ranking" stores because they never stocked the Jabba Throne SW exclusive to them. I have severe doubts they will stock any Tron toys, let alone the Clu exclusive.
I will visit my local stores and comb their website everyday. I hope I don't panic.

Yeah I noticed no Walmart Exclusive on the packaging also.
Just noticed my cycle is no longer working in I mode - not sure if my kid did something to it or its defective.
It still works with the button though.
Went to Target today and also saw some Tron stuff - found the target exclusive baton - looks darker in its coloring than the one I got from Disney Store
Also the 2" toys, diecasts, 7" figures as well.
