Here's an interview with Sean Bailey about TRON: Legacy and the return of TRON.

I thought it was interesting what he said about how they came up with a digital composite of Jeff Bridges.

And for anyone that was wondering about whether or not TRON appears in this film as himself, it's pretty much confirmed by Sean Bailey. But it sounds to me like it will be more in the context of a flashback or something similar.

The part that got me thinking was his statement about "we also expand the definition of what Tron means a little bit."

Hmm...
