I really think those IRL locations only (and seems to be California only???) badges are unfair to those who can't even get there.

I was really mad about the first ARG event because I didn't even live anywhere close to even attend one at all.

Though, that tank badge is nice, wwwmwww

Thanks for the info. I assume someone at 42entertainment could made some codes that would allow you to get that badge through the redeemcode link or something similiar if they wanted. I don't really expect that to happen but its a thought.

I do agree with Kia... its does seem unfair. Not everyone can physically attended these events for a number of reasons. So they should record them and let us virtually attend them by watching the video afterwards. Note they more or less do that now... they should just stick a code that we can use to get the badge at the end of the video.

Or if they like my helping idea... they should give everyone that already has the badge 3 codes that they can give away to others to allow them to get the badge as well. They in turn could get 3 codes to give away and soon everyone that wanted the badge could have it. And those that had someone use one of their give away codes could earn my Tank Pilot badge.

I really do wonder if anyone at 42entertainment is reading this...

A live stream of the event access via a Flynn Lives ID would have been an excellent way of awarding those badges to those who participated online. I would have gotten one too! Maybe they'll think of a way of tracking remote participation next time.

True. I just didn't know about it in time. I was laid off last October and just started a new job Feburary 8th. For a while there I was putting in 16 hour days basically 7 days a week so I simply didn't have time to keep up. I've now got that down to 12 hour days, 6 days a week so I still struggle to keep up with the ARG at times.

My thought was this badge can be for anyone... just help someone get a badge and have that person post here in this thread thanking you and the badge is yours. I wanted to have this thread serve as the official record of who had earned the badge and I though it might help to introduce fans to the forums here as well.

Why so serious? Its just a game to me and I want to win. What other reason is there to play a game? But I can certainly respect that point of view. Do you have the 3 badges for unlocking codes in the Space Paranoids game? Did you find all the bar-codes yourself and scan them to get the codes?

I think if you want exclusive badges then just the first person to enter anyone of those codes from Space Paranoids should get the badge.

I just think exclusive runs counter to 42E's objective. The more sharing and talking about the ARG that is done the more suscessfull they are in promoting the movie. If they have an event were 10 people show up I think they'd want to give each of them 10 codes and encourage them to share with friends and fellow fans.

Again I think you are just taking the game too seriously if you let something like that frustrate you. Ask yourself what the objective of the game is. How does it benefit 42E or Disney to limit those badges to just a very small handful of people. As I understand it each wallet contained 3 codes (maybe more) and each of those codes could be used upwards of 3 times each. I'm sure they wanted to promote sharing and to allow as many as possible to play. That doesn't frustrate me... to me that's them doing their job and doing it rather well that people like myself now want those badges.

True enough. I'm enjoying the game and this was just a fun way to encourage sharing of the codes and share some of my Tron renders again. Overall it hasn't appeared to have much of an effect. I still don't have any codes and no one else has posted thanking anyone for helping them get a code. Still it was a fun experiment and it appears most enjoyed the pictures.
