I will also throw my voice in that I'm not really following the ARG thread either so it appeared to me that few were discussing it (and also few discuss much here).

To give a better presentation of activity and thus encourage more activity by visitors it's better to create and post in new threads. If a visitor comes and sees only one thread with a current post date then it gives the appearance of a less active forum. The less active a forum is (even in appearance only) the less likely visitors will join in on the discussion.

Just some thoughts from someone who spent 10 years running a site with a 7k member forum.

1) Your over-analyzing things too much.
Tron 2.0 or the comic book no longer has any revelance to Tron Legacy or it's back story. Take Tron 2.0 & the comic Tron 2.0: Ghost in the machine as another "alternate universe" sort of thing.
Some general thematic elements are similar yes, but that's it.

2) Space Paranoids this is a *free* browser based game, 42 Entertainment is probably spending at least a million dollars on this viral advertizing/ARG campaign with the live events, creating the game challenges, and all the FREE swag items produced.

3) One should not expect a full blown massively multiplayer player vs player PC game out of them.
That just isn't in their budget as it would cost a few million $$$ to develop such a game.
It's really kind of unreasonable to expect them to develop something like that.

4) Your expectations are uneccessarily high and impractical for what is mainly a big viral ad campaign with an ARG to help spread buzz and promote the movie.

Give the people running and funding "Flynn Lives" a frakkin' break.

5) "Tron:Evolution" will be a full blown videogame with online player vs player Light Cycle battles and such, so get it when it comes out on PC, 360, PS3. and maybe Wii...
