We were inspired by the new Tron film coming this summer and decided to derez somesome tunes from the original film! The music is based off of Tron’s amazing original 1982 soundtrack by the great Wendy Carlos. We also included the two original Game Boy versions that we competed 1st before expanding the projects pallet to include other computer and video game console sounds. The collection’s sound palette uses the following systems: Commodore 64, Nintendo NES, Nintendo Game Boy, Apple II, and Atari 2600.

I commend and congratulate you for the retro-feel to this while not becoming a slave to it. I front-paged this since I think it deserves more exposure. I'm a fan of 8 Bit Weapon and ComputeHer. Nice job with the TRON tracks.

Whoa, sweet EP! I actually just bought LSDJ the other day, so I gotta ask: what Game Boy software did you use on this?

Pretty sweet. Thanks for creating and sharing The intro to tracks 2 and 4 gives me flashbacks to Defender of the Crown on the C64 (and Amiga 500). There are moments in that game where it has a very similar sound/style. Sweetness. I loved that game and I love Tron -- so you hit a couple of my nostalgic buttons, LOL.

I think the C64 version might actually sound more like the Tron tracks, but I can't find a C64 vid where someone has recorded the audio for the part I need to reference *sigh*
