The song is elsewhere on Youtube -think it's called Crash. A lot of people on here and Youtube say it's a fake but if it's playing at a promo event you'd think it was legit.

Either way, it's bangin'. I copied the video from Youtube using KeepVid then ripped the audio to mp3 for my phone ringtone. A long way for a short cut but I will be snapping up any soundtrack CD that comes out.

"The Crash" is Not a Daft Punk song (this is a fact stated on various Music news sites and by the musicians themselves). Kanye West mistaked it as a unreleased song for Tron Legacy and posted it up on his blog by mistake until he found out it's in fact a song called "Body Double" by PilotPreist and Calamity Jane Recordings.



Once again, "Body Double" (mistitled on the internet as "The Crash") is not a TRON Legacy song and it's not made by Daft Punk.




And no other released "leaks" on the Internet are from TRON Legacy nor are they official. Someone really needs to sticky this type of information.

Of course what would be even more epic is a link for a link to buy. after all our money is what keeps these people making epic music, but I digress. After a quick browse of youtube I've come to the conclusion that if these things ARE part of the soundtrack it's gonna be uber. If it isn't, there's high standards to meet. ...now if only I could find a copy of the track from the first trailer that doesn't have all the trailer sound effects....

Disney will release the original sound track when they're ready. I'm sure all the good stuff you're hearing will be even better once the movie comes out, including the short clip from the first lightcycle reveal and the trailer.


And for those of you who keep asking for download links to "Body Double"(the Crash), why don't you just go to iTunes or Beatport and buy a legal download from there.

I think the song hot00frb posted in the original post is Daft Punk. It was an official Disney event from SDCC last year, I can't imagine it was not Daft Punk. I love it and can't wait to hear it on a CD or hi-quality MP3.

Did you visit his link? That's not the same song as "Body Double" which I think was originally rumoured to be called "Crash" before the real story of it being a fake, and who really did it, was learned. I love the Body Double song too, though.

I was not referring to hot00frb's youtube link...I was referring to the post mislabeling the song from his link. It's obvious that the song's from the actual trailer and lightcycle (and I didn't say the songs from the trailers and official videos were fake) reveal are from Disney(studios).
