So, anyone that did get the sdcc exclusives, think you could post some pictures of them?

Also, does the Sam's lightcycle die cast separate from the base?abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I was pushed out of line by red-shirted security TWICE and had to speak with some people... but I did luckily manage to get the vintage figure and a Sam Flynn Light Cycle...

I can tolerate the horde of people that line up just to buy the exclusive toys just to "have it", even though they most likely are not really a fan of Tron...
But I find it really lame when item scaplers and their buddies fill up the line and then sale the tron items on ebay for exorbatant prices.

Not directly Tron related, but on topic with what you're saying here.

I talked to a guy for a few minutes on Sunday who had been buying and selling SDCC Exclusives the entire show. He said the Mattel Galactus 19" figure was the 'best comic con exclusive ever.' It took me a couple minutes to realize that he felt this way NOT because it was a great item (which it was, in my opinion), but because he had been able to cash in by buying and reselling 50 of them!...all for at least double the original price. He was there to basically take advantage of the fans and collectors who were - for whatever reason - unable to get one from Mattel directly. Unbelieveable.

:O
that is such B.S. HE SOLD 50 OF THEM!?!

I know I sound whiney but that is just not right.

something needs to be done about that.

Yea, the Light Cycle does separate from the base. It has real rolling hubless wheels, which is also pretty sweet.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

At the same time, they did possibly spend hundreds of dollars for hotel, flight and ComicCon badges, and had to get in line for the figures (not always easy), then had to wait in line ... on top of dealing with ComicCon security guards, chaos and everything else... so I'm not sure how wrong it is. Even if you spend $100 or $200 on one, that person probably has still saved you a good deal of money and some heartache. I'm not going to sell mine, but if I did, I'd like to think that all the frustrations I dealt with are worth more than $45 (the price paid for both items). Plus there's supply and demand to think about.

I see ur point but i have to disagree. if someone is a true fan they would keep the tiem after going through all the trouble to get it. not sell it online to make a profit. the person is more than likely a scalper. nobody who actually wants the toys in thier right mind would go through all that just to sell it.

congrats on being able to get one(or more) of the exclusives btw

Yea I walked up to the booth right when Bruce did, it was pretty awesome.

We got hats for working the booth, but the apparel folks were saying they'd be out at retail around November, in time for the holidays. I believe they're all done by New Era, and they all glow in the dark.

I think I may have run by you once Wheat King, I think your name is Paul? Everytime I went by the booth to say "hi" you weren't there. LOL

Thanks to a kind person from Spin Master, I was able to buy a vintage figure, after the crappy morning I had and being pushed out of line twice and was I really really not happy about that.

I am very thankful I was able to get one finally. I love TRON, so getting it was kind of special to me.

Hey guys! Thanks to a very nice guy I got my SDCC Tron stuff today! Everything is great. The packaging on the light cycle is great. I might keep that in package just because it looks so sharp. I wonder if the regular releases will have the shiny metal treatment?

But the best thing has to be the Vintage Figure. Sure, it's more like a statue but it's truly awesome. I didn't realize the joystick was actually made of plastic! I thought, from the pictures, it was printed on the box.

First of all it's HUGE. I put some figures (a DC Classics and a Marvel Universe figure) just for scale'

I was trying to figure out how the box opened... when I realized it opened like a book! Ingenious! It makes taking the figure in and out a snap. The plastic around it is smoky, which really adds to the effect when it lights up. Of course, the plastic can come off too so you can see the figure in all it's glory!

I made a YouTube video showing the light-up feature in action:

I'm glad all of you guys where able to go to it. I know it had to have been fun (minus the huge crowd and being pushed out of line, ect.). But how was the whole weekend? Was the main day Thursday, or was there other events there that where fun to do?

On a different note, does anyone here have cable? Bright House or the equivelent of it? Because they put up Tron Comic Con photage on one of the free chanels. It covers the main part of both panels, but leaves out the 8 minute photage of the movie. It's aprox. 28 minutes long, so a lot of things cold have been cut out.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

That thing is very huge.. and people always asked where to get one, and the Identity Disc from the location scavenger hunt. Congrats on getting one. Sunday's line, didnt have many happy campers!

I'm really, REALLY happy the Comic Con Exclusives went over so well with the media and Con-goers, but more importantly with the hardcore fans like you guys. Stuff like this makes my job fun, and makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

For those of you who don't want to unwrap your Vintage Figure, I would seriously consider doing so. Like jonwes said here, the packaging makes display in or out of the box easy and doesn't damage the figure or the box (except the shrink wrap...which i was never a fan of anyway).

Yea, my name is Paul. I was at the booth here and there, but usually ended up running around the convention floor like everybody else.

By the way, was anyone at our booth to see the presentation to Garret Hedlund?abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion
