So, it's limit 1 per person for both exclusives. For whatever reason, Spin Master doesn't have a booth this year So you can find all the toy stuff at the Disney Tron booth, which looks like it is going to be awesome.

I still have mine in package. It does come with a display base with a light wall, so it looks good out of package too.

arg, can't decide if i would take it out the box or leave it in

1 per person, 1st come-1st serve is a good thing. While having a presell like Sideshow and AFX is choice, at least they are putting a limit on how much the scalpers can buy. If they punch badges so it really is 1 per person for the entire show, that's even better and REALLY limits the scalpers. And, if they do not allow Vendors to buy on Preview Night, like Mattel, that would be even better.

Rusty, I have 9 other people going with me, no worries. order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

RustyMuffler Wrote:Thanks as always for the advance word, Wheat, but... wow! So, is that one per person per day or simply one per person? Don't see how they would be able to control a one per person total allotment over four days. But if so that's really going to be beyond suck as many of us who aren't lucky enough to be able to go are counting on folks attending to try and score us the items so that we don't have to resort to being scalper raped on ePay. Having assisted in running a major con before, I know all too well how these kinds of "one per" situations work out for the collector versus the scalpers working sales booths at the events who send their lackeys in to get multiples to sell at an upcharge (many times not even waiting for the con to end but rather immediately listing on ebay or selling right out of their booth right at the show).

And Spin Masters not even having a booth at the biggest comic and toy show of the year?? That sounds so strange. Do they not normally attend SDCC? I won't attempt to veil my ignorance on that subject as I have never been lucky enough to attend, but it just sounds really strange to me. So does that mean that the announcements of the toys for the end of the year are going to come out of the Disney booth? Or... are any announcements going to be made? Sorry, don't mean to be reactionary. It's just that a lot of us have been "attempting" (notice the quotations) to be patient for the toy announcements and pics, anticipating that said word would be coming out of SDCC.

It's situations like this that make me appreciate a company like Hasbro who at least makes an attempt to hold back a few exclusive items to sell on their site to folks who aren't able to attend.

Going to try to keep my head up but this news just does not bode well.

A lot of us are wondering why Spin Master would choose not to have a booth. I'm not going to be too negative about the company I work for (at least publicly ), but not representing at Comic Con is a huge mistake, in my opinion. We had our first and ONLY booth at SDCC last year, and from what I heard it was successful so...i dunno...I don't get it any more than you do.

Regardless, the Tron Legacy toy line will be represented at the Disney booth. I don't know yet what is in order as far as 'announcements' go, but the toys will definitely be on display to check out during the convention.

It is confirmed that the exclusives will be 1-per-person, for the whole convention.

Commenting only on exhibition at SDCC in general, not on this specific company...

The show is out of hand - cost wise. And the competition for attention is so incredibly fierce that you have to spend like crazy just to get attention. And there is little evidence that said attention translates into anything truly valuable. It's a big show - no doubt there - but it's like being in a room with 30 bands playing at once. It just becomes a cacophony and no one has enough time (or money) to really pay attention to everything.

The question is: How beneficial is a booth at SDCC really? From my experience the time and money is better spent on other promotional ventures.

Additionally, hotel rooms have become very difficult to procure. Particularly this year as there is another (unrelated) event transpiring at the hotel directly next to the hall. So cost and availability are becoming a huge issue.

I saw the new Last Airbender toys a ToysRUs the other day, they were all on an endcap. Spinmaster did a great job on those. I can't wait to walk into ToysRUs in October and see an entire endcap of Legacy toys, I'd buy them all!!

That's nothing new dude, scalpers do stuff like that all the time. Just wait until after the convention, they will be less.

Wow. I was just reading in that other thread- The Coup. It looks like Mr. Clean really had some legit info. I quote him here-

"so- just so you guys don't think I'm full of crap I wanted to give 3 pieces of evidence... but for some reason I can't post pictures (that may be my fault- I just can't figure it out... but it might be the administrator taking away privaledges)- so that blows 2 pieces of evidence.

The third piece of evidence is this: the comiccon item has a try-me button that is located at the bottom center of the package. And there are only 1500 of them."

Looks like he was describing the Tron figure exclusive. I wonder what other juicy bits of info he could fill us in on? Did he see any other Classic Tron action figures? I bought a couple of "The Last Air Bender" action figures today to get an idea of what to look forward to for Tron Legacy. My anticipation for this line is growing.

I would like to see what SpinMaster could do with another favorite of mine- Star Trek! After Playmates 2009 attempt I'm sure CBS/Paramount will be looking for some fresh ideas. Any considerations for that with the Star Trek sequel in 2012, Wheat King? Just trying to generate a buzz for another of my other favorite sci-fi franchises. That license would certainly offer many possibilities for SpinMaster to become a big name in the action-figure aisles! Wheat King, please pass this on to your licensing department!order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Hey Wheat,

Now that we've seen some of the new toys coming, http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=270&itemid=16026, can you verify a few things for us?

1) There are 3 scales of figures correct, 3.75", 7.5", and 12" Sam?

2) The vehicles are for the 3.75" figures?

3) The 3.75" figures light up with the vehicles?

Thanks again!
