Here is a strange one for you. Last night I was on my old pc (about 3 years max) was working fine I logged off shut down blah blah. Long story short, started it up today no display, boots into windows and you can hear the pc play the start windows theme. Press the power button the pc shuts down as normal still with no display at all not even a display during POST and BIOS. Now I've plugged the monitor into my new computer, works fine, reseated the graphics card on the old pc checked the parts no appearance of any physical damage that I can see. The BIOS seems to think that there IS a display output due to the lack of post errors. The Mo-bo doesn't have an on board card and I cannot swap out the graphics card with an old one of the one from my new pc (because it will not physically fit in the case).
Slightly stuck as to what it could be, I am thinking the graphics card is broken I just don't want to pay £30 at the moment just in case I can fix this problem.

If your old card fits into the new PC that's the only other alternative to checking it, or maybe you could see if a local repair shop will throw it on one of their computers.

Bah! local repair shop is full of morons I should know I used to work there lol , I didn't want to put it into my new pc just in case the card has damaged the board. I'll see if I can borrow a old PCI-E card from work to try it out. Thanks for the advice.

dunno if this helps, but, ocassionally I have a problem with my video card not fully inserting in the case I have (even though it's bolted down), so I press the back of the case and the top of the video card together and that fixes the problem.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

I'll give it a go thanks, I managed to get one from work to test to see if it is the card of the motherboard. I'll let you know what happens when I try it out.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Have you tried using an alternate card like a spare one that you have hanfing around. I usually have three maybe four of them around over here. Ranging from 2-128 megabytes in memory on those. ANd just test to see if it is the card itself. Even though the card may not look physically damaged. Did it smell like a electrical component may have burnt on the card itseld? Sometime that has happen from time to time on those things. Check with an older AGP card to see if it is that even if you are going to go in with a lower resolution video card for the time being.

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.
