I've posted this question before without success. But I just created a visual, and I'm hoping it helps someone remember what the heck the name of this game is. I think it was White Knight, or a name similar to this, but I could be way off.
So I played this game a long time ago. I can't remember if it was Commodore 64 or IBM PC, Jr. I'm 95% sure it was one of these two systems, but not positive. I'm leaning toward it being C64.
For this game, you took the role of a white knight I think. The first mission is that you had to figure out how to capture and get on an elusive horse. To do so, you had to pick up fence pieces and place them in a semi-enclosure and hope the horse would randomly run in there so you would have a better chance of catching him. I drew my recollection of what the level looked like below. I probably didn't do it much justice, but if you've seen the game before, this should ring some bells. I don't think the graphics were much better than this. The fence pieces scattered about might've actually been brown rather than white.
Once you were on the horse, I'm pretty sure you could jump by hitting your joystick button.
You then could ride your horse off the screen to the right, to the next mission. The next mission was to jump across lilly pads in a pond to a castle gate I think. (I will try to draw what I remember of this scene soon if nobody recognizes this game yet.)
I never got very far in this game for some reason. The last mission I remember is the lilly pad mission described above. Not sure if it would crash, or if it was just too hard for my age, or what. But whatever the reason, I'm hoping someone out there remembers this game and remembers what it's called, or can point me to a website that talks about it.
I've looked several times on the web, and can never find anything on this game!! I want to play it again! Help?
