Very cool, thanks for uploading those! Glad you got to check it out!
So what was the crowd like? any familiar faces? how many people were there?
I think someone asked this already, how long is the arcade going to remain open? |

They should just release it as a free downloadable game for the PC. I'm pretty certain the game is running on what's essentially a special MAME cabinet. There's a PC in there somewhere, running the game. All games are made or developed on the PC first for prototyping, and then they make the various versions.
I'm sure they'll release it eventually in some form, though.
Nice photos and videos, Daddyo.
@Jademz: I heard it's open until at least Saturday night (tonight). Not sure about after that.

The tank was a bit hard to maneuver ..... aiming was easy with the track ball, but the actual driving was a bit difficult....
hopefully they will release a slew of new tron games based on the original movie like Space Paranoids and some new stuff as well....

I only talked to a couple people while waiting in line for about 1/2 hr. They're all nerds.
Haha, nah they all seem like you guys.
Hmm I'm digging myself a hole.
I tried repeatedly to photograph the detail on the "transmission box" on the cycle - but it just wouldn't come out I think because of the strong glow. There's quite a bit of fine monochrome detail there.
The game itself was a bit hard to control, joystick to move, trackball to aim, don't remember a game like that. Seemed easy to replicate. I tried playing it a bit, but wanted to look around - think we had 15 minutes total inside. Got to play Berzerk too. All free
There were a few guys there that designed the cycle supposedly, I found out talking to the shirt-handerouters, I think they said they're wearing a special band or something? Just ask you might be able to get some cool info.
It was totally worth the 3 hours of total driving and $30 parking, and feeling like a geek waiting in line hehe.
Also...to the left of the picture of the Tron video game you can see a vertical line in the wall, that's where they opened up the brick to the cycle room. Now I cant remember if the whole game moved out of the way...abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion |

3 hours of driving and 30 for parking...
That sucks, for me it was about 5 minutes of driving and I paid a bum $3 bucks for a used parking pass that expired that night at 1 am.
Definitely a great experience.... but I was bummed that they didn't have LOS DISCOS MUERTE DE TRON

Excellent pictures, thanks for sharing!
Now I really do hope that someone releases this to arcades. We need more games that are more than just a racer/light-gun/dancing title.
There have been a few games that use a joystick/trackball combo. Notably The Grid and OutTriggers. It's still not very common though. It sounds like the controls need some fine-tuning. abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Thanks for taking photos, Daddyo! Please tell me that they are going to be selling those Space Paranoids posters.
Just for fun, I captured some images from the original film, and make up a comparison post:

Heck ya driph, that's cool! I got all this stuff for everyone, just wish I had a better camera.
I think the paranoids poster was more like a board (symantics?).
Didn't realize they had a totally different cabinet from the original film. I also just noticed above the top of the screen the words 'FLATRON LX0XP' or close to that. Seems to simply be a monitor by LG.
When I went there were probably 70 people in line, more?
