I think so to I do remember reading up on it here I think for the lightcycles Kia. They had removed it or disabled it to some extent or did some extra modigications. I think there was in one of the patches to fix it later on I think it was with 1.42c that corrected the problem later on for it. But I do remember something to that effect to what you are saying with tron 2.0.

KiaPurity Wrote:About multiplayer-- didn't we hear about something like this before with Lightcycles in Tron 2.0...?

(But they wound up adding it in anyway!)

I think what happened was that they didn't have enough time or some such-- it can't be entirely Sony's fault (granted, they have made embarrassingly poor decisions and still do so.)

I wouldn't be surprised if they made a Multiplayer a "downloadable" pack or something if enough people complained. *facepalms*

I really miss the days when games would be complete and nearly bug-free in the past. (Of course, some games weren't entirely bug free in the past either!)

Under system properties it says exactly:

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU
6300 @ 1.86GHz
1.86 GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM
Physical Address Extension.

So, I still don't understand. It says 2 cpu, and lists 1.86 GHz twice so is the total speed in GHz combined or what???

And there is your answer as well for it both cpu's are running at 1.86 GHZ. Just boast your ram to the max on it and you should be fine. I am already looking at another amd computer here that I am boosting the ram from 512 megs to about 3 gigs. I have two smal hard drives for it for now to work with on Open Solaris which is a good thing for it. a 40 gig and a 30 gig for the users on it.

In general it is the total combine is 3.72 ghz. But it is not the true running speed of the cpu. It is only running at 1.86GHZ. If your into overclocking those kind of processors go for it. I have seen even a I7 quad core pushed to 4.12ghz. That is to say each of the cores were running at 2.6 or 2.8ghz each. And boosted it to 4.12 with the frontside bus and multiplier as well as the voltage changed in them. So each of the cores were running at 4.12GHZ.

Each core is running at 1.86 on that single chip that you have there. THat is what it means. It is like saying that you have two seperate cpu's in the machine running at 1.86 Like what I have on my Precision 530 which is running two Pentium Xeon IV 1.5 GHZ cpu's. And not a core duo like what you have on yours. That is all what it means.

My concern is that if after I upgrade my ram, that Ghostbusters might not run, or barely run at all if my CPU isn't fast enough.

I was taking a look at Intels website for the processor that they are mentioning for the bare minimum. Your going to be squeaking at 0.06ghz with the bare minimum processor. Take a look here at the listing that I am refering to with TRON.DLL was mentioning for the minimum and the recommended processor that they are mention as well.

http://www.intel.com/products/processor_number/chart/core2duo.htm
You'll see that your can play it with the minimum processor augment the ram to the max. I'm just wondering if your motherboard can handle a faster cpu as well.

I think the core 2 duo processor may not show up as two cores is because core 2 duo doesn't support hyperthreading like the new i7, Zeon, or amd dual/quad cores.

As long as you have what you said, a core 2 duo 1.86 not the centrino model, I think you'll be ok.

In answer to your quesion: If you don't use XP 32 bit O/S, (supports 3GB only) you can order 2 x 2GB Dual-Channel DDR2 SDRAM (533MHz) for very cheap.
Example
And video cards for your pc should be very cheap if you shop them out too.

good luck!

My PC has windows XP media center 2002 edition with service pack 3 so I don't know if that matters or not.

Thanks for all the help though, it's very much appreciated.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

Yeah it matters, your limit is 3 GB unless you upgrade your o/s.

You're welcome. Let us know if the game is playable.

From what I was reading it should come up as 2 physical cores in there even on his machine. I am looking on Intel website over here with some figures to boot. Even if it doesn't support hyperthreading the two physical cores on a single chip for him is still okay.

http://www.intel.com/products/processor/core2duo/specifications.htm?iid=prod_core2duo+tab_spec
I know my Dell GX270 has a hyperthreading Intel Pentium IV 2.88GHZ chip inside of it acting as my web server over here. So the hyperthreading for Shadowdragon1 is not really the important thing. Theoretically it should work on your machine shadowdragon1.

Even though you have two cores in your processor, it's still considered to be a 1.86 GHz CPU.

Your CPU meets the game's minimum requirements. Even your video card will work, according to what I've been reading. I've seen a second person stating the game works on the 9600GT with only 256MB. But 1GB system memory probably isn't enough.
