Saw Terminator Salvation on Fri

As a Terminator fan it's the movie I always wanted I.E. Future war movie. The action was incredibly well made and sequenced,The story True to Cameron's awesome concept, Terminator's so well designed they make stan Winston proud, and pretty well acted to.

The last movies I saw:
Wolverine (it was likeable; just remember to not go nerdrage over comic accuracy and y'all will be fine! Side note: I thought Gambit was pretty good.)

Star Trek (twice) ... oh man, I loved Karl Urban as Bones. (Totally channeling Deforest!) When I sat down one summer to watch entire three seasons of TOS-- Bones was always my favorite out of all the characters.

Terminator Salvation. Loved the Marcus character-- but then again I'm a sucker for those type of characters. Not gonna spoil. :V

Yeah i saw star trek yesterday and thought it was AMAZING as well. Also been watching some old films by quentin tarantino, like pulp fiction and reservoir dogs. brilliant films can I say, in all aspects. would very very highly recommend both. fantastic to have non-linear/retrospective plots as they engage the viewer more and make the events just more interesting i find. also saw dead poet society since I'm a fan fo robert sean leanard from his acting on house. robin williams and RSL do a excellent job, and the film ends with a crushing twist. abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

I recently re-watched James Bond 007: Quantom of Solace and WALL-E.

QoS: Absolute BS. Does not diserves to be called a James Bond film.

WALL-E: It was strange and kinda funny. What's weird is that I noticed that alot of the movie has similarities to the old Sega game called "VectorMan" and the 1980's classic "2001: A Space Oddysee."

I never saw Quantum of Solace (played the game, which should've been called Casino Royale). I did see Casino Royale in the theater, but it was just so slow and boring. Mostly talking, no puns, no gadgets, a brief but still incredibly slow and boring fight scene here and there. Heck, they even took out the original gunbarrel opening and jammed it in about 5-6 minutes into the film. Personally, I really don't care too much for Dr. No or Casino Royale. The Quantum of Solace game isn't completely terrible. However, it barely deserves to have the Quantum of Solace name on it, as it's only got 3-4 levels from that movie (the other, idk, 10-15 are based on Casino Royale). If you're desperate for some stealthy FPS action, give it a shot.

WALL-E, on the other hand, is a freaking MASTERPIECE of a movie. Anything that could make a movie good is in that movie. Quite honestly, I think it's the best Pixar film since The Incredibles. The game, unsurprisingly, made me bored to tears.

I'm with you there. Man, I hated Quantum of Solace. Does not stand up. I was so disappointed. I actually almost fell asleep near the ending. That didn't happen with the previous movie.

I still have my brothers old Sega and the Vectorman Games. I have to say there's a major difference in the story. For one, VectorMan isn't falling in love with another robot. A second major difference is he's not alone by himself on earth as the sole robot left cleaning the planet up. The planet is filled with other (Living)robots. Another big difference is he's not necessarily saving the world from toxic sludge/trash, he's saving it from a rogue robot dictator threatening the planet with a nuclear missile.

I really don't see too much similarities to Space Odyssey. The similarities are really only a spoof. Aside from a spoof of the music in a scene and a robot spoof of Hal and Max(Flight of the Navigator....which is a Disney movie) mixed into one called Auto. Auto was a bit more sane than Hal. Because, you know...Hal actually killed the crew. Definitely wouldn't be Disney friendly if Pixar made Auto kill anyone.

I'm wondering what's going to happen to him after he was turned off by the ship's captain. Is he just going to permanently stay off, or is someone going to turn him back on now that the ship has landed? Reprogram it maybe?

Anyone seen the trailer for “9” yet? It looks like a pretty good movie. “Where the Wild Things Are” also look like it's going to be a great movie.

“9” is suppose to be based on a short film (by the same name) by Shane Acker.

No, Tim Burton didn't write the original story, create the art, or animate the film(or original). That's not what producers do. I like Tim Burton's work, I just get annoyed when people I know automatically jump the boat and assume he is the original creator/animator/artist.

I'm cold and calculating. Don't press my buttons.

Well yeah, you're right about that. But I mean that it's similar to WALL-E in the facts that he's got a personality (like WALL-E) and that they're making the world safe for Humanity to return (The ending of VectorMan 1 claimed that).

You're right about that, too. But in the novel, Hal was programmed to murder the crew due to it being vital to it's mission. Yet, since the movie was practically a "Silent Movie", they were not able to expand upon it. Thus the assumption of Hal being Sentient.

In The Yeeeeaarr Two-Thousaaaaand... in The Yeeaar Two-Thou-SAAAAAAANNNNDD!!

...Disney and Pixar finally snap when they make "WALL-E 2" into a Horror Movie.

I never saw QoS. I was referring to Casino Royale when I said I nearly fell asleep. That game was a near carbon copy of CoD4 with some 3rd person stuff. Heck, Treyarch even recycled Bond's hand for World at War. Go play the level "Blowtorch and Corkscrew" and you can still see the watch on his hand.

The Bond films had really better step it up. Ever since Casino Royale they've been absolute crap. Fans of the novels, however, give it endless praise and positive reviews for being a direct adaptation of the novels. The problem is that direct, nearly word for word adaptations of books generally tend to be boring and therefore not entertaining.

Damn, that must pretty huge. "Highest grossing" sounds impressive.

@Oniell Ford_

Oh man. It's been years since I read any of the books. I forgot that Hal was preprogramed for murder. If only the near by library had them.

All I can say is: Vectorman=Finger mashing side scrolling awesomness.

Oh. I thought you meant that recent one. Well, I didn't fall asleep in Casino Royale, but I had trouble keeping up with that one too.

I was itching to get up and walk around during the poker scene. I mean. They're just sitting there playing cards .

yeah - i always figured the 42nd st. Regal and AMC were the most popular - right in Times Square - but it makes sense - the Lincoln is on 63rd so i suppose all the upper west side folks go there instead to avoid the rowdyness

Terminator Salvation=good
i thought in the one scene the (german?) guy tells Bale/Conner "Achilles was intercepted from Skynet" i even found a webcast of a t.v. news movie review that used that clip and had an auto-generated transcript read it as "Achilles" -

...but he says "A kill-list..."

But there's this villian-esque guy who owns the casino who wants to win in a game of poker that he is hosting so that he can get money to buy nukes and crap, but he hasn't rigged the game in any way whatsoever, and there's overdramatic music playing, so therefore, it's exciting!

I've seen both Star Trek and Terminator: Salvation now.

Star Trek: Good, but not Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan good. And why do the Kelvin and Enterprise engineering decks look like factories or breweries? They look so primitive and cheap compared to the high-tech bridge.

Terminator: Salvation: Good, but not T1 or T2 good. I feel the scathing reviews are undeserved, though. All the negative buzz makes it sound like T4 is completely awful, and it's not. Though I'll admit that having McG as director made it easy to believe the bad press.

I completely agree with you that the engineering decks looked far too primitive, like they were directly off of a present-day nuclear wessel. Also, while Star Trek isn't quite Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan-good, it comes damn close in my opinion.

I completely agree with you about how good Terminator Salvation is relative to T1 and T2, and I'd say that TS is far and away superior to T3.

I especially liked all of the references to T1 and T2 in TS. Unfortunately, there was at least one huge nod to T3 in there - i.e. John Connor's being married to Katherine Connor (née Brewster) - which means that T3 is considered canon. Eh, it was still a good flick.

How about those trailers for the next Transformers movie? Quite possibly the most tantalizing movie trailers - maybe excepting the one for TR2N - I've ever seen.

Night at the Museum was a great movie for a know-it-all like me, lol. Very funny too.
Terminator: Salvation... where to begin. You know how you go to see a movie, and the walls are shaking from the one next door? Terminator was that movie, haha. But it really was excellent, I really reccomend it.

Few other movies I added to my list of wanting to see...eventually.

D-9

I sort of spazzed out when I saw this trailer at the theater. Sort of like when I spazzed out on the "9" trailer.

I also want to see that James Cameron Movie, "AVATAR".

I'm mostly excited for for Tr2n/ Tron 2. My heart almost imploded when I first saw that test footage. None of the trailers for other movies I've seen so far has actually done that.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill
