I posted an article on my blog last year stating that Peter Moore won my award as 'Moron of 2008' for denying PC gamers a Madden 09 release. Apparently he found out that underestimating the PC community wasn't a wise thing to do. According to Voodoo Extreme, Peter Moore is bringing back Madden football to the PC with Madden 10.
EA came into being as a computer game development company from the start. A company that owes it's success to computer gamers. Madden football started out as a computer game on the Apple II and became a big success.
EA isn't the same company anymore. They've became a huge powerhouse made up of sub-development teams which is govern by Electronic Arts and trying to buy developing companies left and right. Not to long ago they tried to buy 'Take 2 Interactive' (GTA anyone?) but nothing became of that as of yet. Has EA became too big?
ANYWAYS!!!!
I'm an American Football freak. NFL 100%!!! and I love the Madden games. It's true that EA Sports don't seem to update their games much on each yearly release, but I still buy the Madden games because I can't ever get enough football (GO COLTS!!!!)... but not Madden 09.. See, I'm a die-hard PC gamer. If I had the money to buy a console, and I was standing in line to get one... I'd only be in line for three seconds because I figured I'd rather buy a Geforce GTX. Reason for this is that I do so much more than just play games.
So for anyone out there that is into Football like I am, and you are a PC exclusive gamer like me, then you might be thrilled to know that Madden is coming back to the PC.
